Paul Prenter was running behind the show producer after Freddie and the band showed his big discontent with the idea of doing lip-syncing. Brian was looking at John as both of them were trying to do their thing, but no sound came off their instruments. Even Roger tried to hit the cymbals, and it made such an awful stifled sound that made him mad. "This is shit!", he shouted as Audrey sighed beside Mary.

"I wonder why they won't let them play live", said Mary with furrowed eyebrows.

The answer to that came along with the producer walking to the boys. "This is the BBC, and that's how things work here, so don't be a nuisance and do what you're told to"

"Don't worry Freddie, everything is going to be great", Paul said in a rush and then ran after the producer, making Audrey roll her eyes. It's good to know Paul cared about the band as he almost got on his knees to not disgust Freddie at all.

"What a bloody idiot", she said just as Brian imitated the producer, saying his trademark line: "This is the BBC", he scoffed.

"Well, I'm glad it is this way", said Deaky as he held his bass. The boys looked at him with furrowed eyebrows. "What? It means we won't mess up or anything"

"Good to know you're doing it live next time", teased Audrey with a smile on her face.

Things got quickly started, and Mary was looking at Freddie with love eyes as the idiot that Audrey hated so much was standing beside her, looking at Freddie with the same eyes. "Keep your eyes to yourself, Prenter", Audrey repeated in a whisper, and he glared at her but didn't say anything.

Roger was stunningly hot as he banged his drums with an annoyed look on his face that only softened to smile the girls that were in the public and when he made a quick wink at Audrey that was staring at him. She rolled her eyes at him but gave him a smile.

Even though she wanted to blow a kiss at him to lighten his mood, she knew that if one of the boys saw her, it would be her doom.

"Roger's staring at you", Mary whispered in her ear while she was watching Deaky pretending to play in a less stiff way. She looked at him, and he then stared the other way. The song was coming to an end.

"Yeah, so what?"

"Don't mistake me for a fool, Audrey!", said Mary with a smile as Freddie ended the song and the camera started focusing the other way. Mary took her arm playfully. "I can see it,"

"Shut up!", Audrey laughed out loud as the boys were greeting the fans or the people that the BBC brought in.

She threw herself in Deaky's arms as she gave him a bone-crushing hug and a squeal on his ear. "You did it so well", she said.

"Well, technically, I didn't play, so your compliment is invalid - OUCH!", Audrey nudged him so hard that he felt it up to his soul.

"Don't be a brat now that you're a rockstar", she gave him a half smile, and he rolled his eyes.

She then made her way to congratulate Brian as he and Chrissy were holding hands, and then she stared at Freddie, who was kissing Mary lovingly... Paul's eyes were shining with a hint of jealousy. She was about to beat him up when Roger pulled her arm and made her hug him. She was surprised at it since there were so many people in there. "Rog!", she whispered-yelled as he laughed.

"Can't I hug my girl?", he said loudly. "You're my best friend!"

She then sighed as she noticed how he tried to hide it, but nonetheless, she enjoyed being in his arms. "You did great even though you were pissed"

"I look hotter when angry", he teased.

"Not really."

They both pulled apart as Deaky came closer and started talking non-stop about girls, making Freddie sign their vinyl copies. Then, the remaining three band members went to sign the fans' copies.
