The blonde girl had her arms crossed over her chest as the black-haired one was looking at her with a cheeky smile.

"You have to promise it", Mary said as they were in the Heathrow Airport, waiting for their flight. Audrey nodded enthusiastic.

"It's Freddie. He'll only lose control around us and then blame it all on us again", she rolled her eyes.

Mary smiled and nodded. "You have to call me to keep me updated", they held hands, and even though it was spring, Audrey had cold hands.

"Don't worry, I will make sure Freddie calls you even if he's drunk", she rolled her eyes.

Freddie came back from exchanging some words with the band and Reid. And Paul being the puppet he wanted to be -Freddie's of course- was standing beside him. Audrey rolled her eyes. Again.

"Gotta go before my murdering instinct get the best of me", she muttered and then hugged a chuckling Mary one last time.

Ben and Lena said goodbye already in the morning and she promised to call them. "I know you're a good girl, but I want Deaky to keep an eye on you", said Lena while they were eating breakfast with Brian, Ronnie, and Deaky.

Deaky took the task a little way too much seriously, and he was offended because Audrey chose Brian as her seat mate instead of him. The truth was that Brian was less annoying than the flamboyant Freddie and then the teasing Deaky.

She was nervous because it was going to be her first time on a plane and going out of the country, and she knew both of them would probably scoff at her, and she only wanted peace. Roger was not an option since she felt they needed some space before they started the tour, and she wanted him to be focused on his own things.

After saying the last goodbyes, they finally were on the plane, where Audrey already asked for a glass of bourbon and Brian was violently told by her to seat beside the window since she couldn't handle it at all. Deaky and Roger were seatmates in front of her, and Freddie and Paul were together in their left.

She really hated the idea of sharing time with Paul, but as long as he was not pissing her off, she was okay with his presence around.

Brian noticed the way Audrey acted whenever Paul was around, and at first he thought of it as if Audrey was acting in a playful mean way - but when he saw Paul handing her passport back in a very rude manner, he was speechless. "He's a dimwit", she affirmed, and Brian just silently agreed.

The eight hours from London to Ohio were endless to her, unlike Roger and Deaky, who were having the time of their lives as they were drinking. Audrey wished she felt as happy as them, but she just felt worn out, tired, and like crying. She wanted to sleep so bad, but her ears couldn't stand the pressure of being so up in the sky, and it bothered her.

Fortunately, Brian handed her his sleeping mask and some pills, and after taking them, she lost the notion of time as she fell asleep whatever was the rest of the flight.

But she had a brief hearing loss after they landed, making her not able to understand most of the things the boys would ask her.

"Have you seen Deaky?", asked Freddie when he saw her.

"What?", she asked while closing an eye.

"Have you seen Deaky?!", he asked louder.

"No, I haven't eaten!", she yelled unintentionally. Freddie was taken aback by her. She was trying to open her ear with a shaking finger, but wasn't succeeding until someone told her to yawn, and she then slowly started hearing again.

"She will recover her hearing soon", Brian assured him as they were making his way to the van that was taking them to the hotel. The next day, they would have a soundcheck. They would be meeting their roadies and their tour bus. They were free for today, even though the first concert was two days away.
