Chapter Seven:Home

Erens POV

He got off the phone with who I'm going to assume was Hanji and he caught me staring at him. "What do you want brat. Let's get back to studying." He said coldly like he didn't even want to have the conversation he had just previously had.

After an hour or two of studying, I brought up the fact that if I was going to stay that I should probably grab clothes from my house. I completely didn't mind staying here the house was nice, and he was great at tutoring. "Hey Levi, can we go to my house so I can pick up some clothes?" "depends Jaeger, I'm not driving if it's still snowing If it only flurrying than sure." He glanced out the window "looks like you got a lucky brat, let's go." he said smoothly with a little bit of a smirk. I threw on my hoodie and he put on a heavy jacket. "Oi, brat did you not bring a coat?" " I don't have on that fits me actually." he threw a heavy fluffy coat at me. "Put this on, for now, you'll freeze to death if not." I put the coat on and with that, we got into levis car and I gave him directions to my house.

We got to the house, I unlocked the door and guided Levi into the living room and told him to wait there. I almost immediately got a phone call, from Mikasa, I ran upstairs to my room to take the call. I started packing while I hit the answer button. "Hey Mikasa, what do you want?" "Eren, first of all, why is that black-haired midget with you, and second why are you packing?" she questions clearly eager to know my response. "Levi Is my partner, and I'm spending the vacation at his house." I said calmly "why?" she asked, "Mikasa I don't have time for this, we have stuff to do." "Okay but one more thing....."

Levis POV

The kid had me wait in the living room while I waited, his house was relatively clean, but his CD rack was really dusty, so I decided to clean it while I waited, I polished it, dusted it, cleaned the disks, and organized them. Well, at least the brat had a good taste in music. I was ripped from my thoughts when I heard the brat yell "goddammit, shit!" I darted upstairs following the sound of where his voice came from. I found the kind leaning up against the wall, knees to his chest, phone still in hand, and he looked terrified. " Oi, brat I heard you yell what's the matter?"

"Well my scumbag father is about five minutes away, and he drinks a lot and when he's drunk sometimes he h-hits me." The boy quickly said while recklessly throwing things into his suitcase, it was a mix of clothes, papers, and whatever was valuable. He ran into the bathroom, threw some foundation concealer and lipstick into a bag and then placed it in his suitcase. When I saw that I looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "I'll tell" you later," he said while trying to calm himself.

We both paused when they realized that a car had just pulled into the driveway. Eren paused and I heard him mumble a quick "shit" he closed his suitcase and looked at me, we both hear the front door open and it smelled awful. "Does he always reek of drugs and alcohol?" I whispered as I looked over at Eren, "yeah, he always has." Eren whispered looking away. As soon as he finished his last sentence we heard his father trying to stumble up the stairs. I looked over at the window, then back at Eren completely ignoring the fact that we were on the second story. "Eren" I whispered with all seriousness. "We're going to have to jump."
