Chapter Two:Detention

Erens POV

"EREN, TIME TO GET UP!" Mikasa shouted, she just loved to yell. I swear to god she doesn't know that I have an alarm clock. I groaned, letting her know that I was in fact awake. Once I heard her walk away I got up and dressed in my comfy hoodie with the 'wings of freedom' on the back, along with a pair of black ripped jeans. As soon as my outfit and bag were ready I grabbed a bagel and started my way to school.

I had wanted to walk alone today, I didn't get that much sleep reason being I couldn't stop worrying about who my partner was going to be for the project we were starting today, what if it was Levi! "DAMMIT" I yelled after finishing my bagel, I paused when I saw someone jump beside me and look up, "oh uhh sorry Armin... wait how long have you been there?" I questioned, "only a minute or two," he said and quickly turned back to the book he was reading. When we got to school we parted ways being that our classes were on different sides of the school campus.

My first class was math, I hated that class because I and this dude named Jean could never get along and he favored beating me up. It was the only class I was failing because I was constantly spending it in the nurse's office which made me lose time in class, but today Jean hadn't taken hold of me and it was already 23 minutes in our 40-minute class. The teacher's phone began to ring and he picked it up waited a second looked at me. "Eren, could you go to the principal's office, he wants to discuss something with you." Oh shit. "Uh okay," I said calmly and tried not to worry. I left the room and walked down the hall. I knocked on the door and walked in. Jean was sat in a chair with a large smirk on his face.

"Eren, Jean here says that you attempted to beat him up today before your math class, and told him to watch out... Is this true?" "What," I said in confusion. "I didn't say or do that. I haven't seen him all day." He looked at me and then looked back at Jean who was obviously missing a tooth. "So how'd he end up like this" He paused. "One week of detention, after break is over," he said calmly but firmly. "B-but sir" I stuttered trying to explain "One week" he interrupted. "Okay," I muttered and walked out followed by Jean.

"What the hell?!" I whispered violently. He pinned me to a locker and said: "I swear to god Jaeger if you tell anyone that I got beat I will beat you to a pulp, you got that?!"

"Alright alright," I said pushing him back.

"But who did beat you up"

"Eren I have no clue, all I knew was that he was a midget with black hair," he said with attitude. He had to of had a decent amount of damage to his nose and was missing a tooth. I just left at that and headed to my English class just as the bell had rung.

The teacher walked to the front of the room and called for everyone's attention. "First of all your English class and grammar classes will be combined, second of all I will be announcing you're partners for the upcoming project. Mikasa eagerly looked at me, until the teacher called her name to be partners with some girl named Annie. My other friend Sasha looked at me but was then called to be partners with a girl named Hanji. The teacher then paused and looked up at me then proceeded to say "Mr.Ackerman... your partner is Eren Jaeger, you may use the rest of the class to get to know our partners, class is dismissed." Oh, shit, Yes what uhh no crap. I thought to myself as I saw Levi glancing towards me.
