3rd Person POV

Avi has been throwing up ever since he was put on the medication and sure the doctor said he would get a little queasy with the daily dosage he was on but they didn't think that he was supposed to throw up every day after the dosage.

Scott's POV

It was hectic. Esther contacted Avi's doctor and he said that he should come in to see what was bothering his stomach so much as Kevin held back his hair while he was doubled over the toilet in the back of the tour bus. We heard the toilet flush and Avi walked out and sat on the couch. He didn't look too good but we honestly didn't think anything of it.

"Guys, we should go."

"my head and stomach hurt allot and i feel weird."

"I know Avi but we need to go to the doctor to get you checked up."

"He doesn't look too good though."

Avi stood up.

"Mitch get out of the bathroom, your hair is fine we need to go."

"fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine."

Mitch walked out the bathroom and he looked absolutely stunning, as usual, I don't know why he always worries about his appearance he always looks so good.

"Right we need to go, the appointment is at 3 so if we leave now--"

It was calm at first...

Then Avi collapsed on the floor.

He fainted.

***time skip to hospital*** 3rd Person POV

They had all been sat in the waiting room since Avi was taken in. It had been three hours and Esther was highly impatient and worried, to say the least. Kevin tried to calm her down but she had blocked out all sounds with her constant thoughts of her little brother. Laying helplessly in a hospital bed with random people running tests on him like he was an experiment and they would just be poking around him and touching him in all sorts of places. And what was she doing? Nothing. Sitting outside with all these other people doing nothing, not knowing what was happening to him in there. He could be in any condition and she was sitting on her ass doing absolutely nothing--

"Avi Kaplan?"

A nurse had come from around the corner and announced his name. The five of them stood, which startled the nurse and others in the waiting room at first, and the nurse walked over to them, clipboard in hand.

"Is he ok??"

"If you could all follow me please."

***

They were all sat in a room looking at the still figure on the bed which was not just their bandmate, but their best friend and brother, metaphorically (Kevin) and literally (Esther but we all knew this didn't we). He was still passed out on the bed and the others were just sat in silence waiting for him to wake up. Kevin was looking at the floor when he saw something stir in the corner of his eye. He thought he was just hallucinating but it happened again, this time he looked up to find Avi moving around on the bed. His eyes opened and Kevin saw his not-so-sparkly green eyes for the first time in what seemed to be hours. The cello player reached over to grab his boyfriend's hand at the side of the bed and smiled up at him.

"hi there."

He got a small hum in return but the others soon looked up and smiled at the bearded man laying in the hospital bed. He looked away from them all and closed his eyes before the nice lady came back into the room, again, with her clipboard and caught the attention of everyone in the room. The smiles that were all on their faces had disappeared when they saw the look on her face though. It wasn't a sympathetic look nor warm or happy. She looked rather... stunned.

"umm... I'll just get right to the point. You've been prescribed anxiety meds for your heightened anxiety and somewhat flashbacks correct?"

He just nodded.

"And they said you would feel slightly queasy but not enough to throw up, even though that is all you've technically been doing the past few days, am I right?"

He nodded again.

"And then you fainted after your recent dosage."

The whole room kept looking at her.

"Sooo... What's your diagnosis?"

"It's not really a diagnosis but... well... Have you had a weird feeling recently, recently being before you passed out."

"He did say that he felt weird and his stomach hurt."

"Precisely where the weird feeling was correct. That was the pills having an effect of a certain part of your stomach causing overwhelming symptoms and side effects. Thier effects were ten times worse due to your current case but-"

"What is his current case?"

"umm... there is no easy way to say this but... Well. We've checked the contents of your stomach and. I don't think you know of this-"

"Know of what?"

Wow, Kevin.

"Well... umm... Congratulations? is that the correct way to describe this?"

"What do you mean by 'Congratulations'?"

She pulled some papers from her board and passed them to Avi.

"We did an ultrasound and turns out..."

Avi looked at the pictures in his hands. And back up at the nurse, his eyes wide.

"Avi, sir. You're pregnant."
