Chapter 6

They could've sworn that the entire room stopped breathing. They were all looking at Avi, who was looking at the pictures in his hands. A baby. In his stomach. He was about to have mental freakout but not in front of all these people. He was so fast no one really saw him leap off the bed and out the room and down the hall into the bathroom nearby.

"Avi!"

Kevin himself was in shock at the news. He couldn't believe his boyfriend was pregnant. He didn't think men were able to be impregnated but here he was. Hearing someone tell him his boyfriend was the carrier of a baby. The nurse had left the room by now and Scott had gone to retrieve the shaken man from, where ever he ran to. Kevin was staring off into space when Esther's hand came down on his arm in a pat on the back.

"Well, you. Well done on starting a family! I mean. I didn't know you two had plans to get freaky in the stall of a bathroom in a nightclub but."

She held up her hands in surrender.

"I'm not here to judge."

"wait, so THAT'S what happened?!"

"KEVIN!!!"

Kirstie and Mitch hadn't been told about anything of the night club but the first thing they didn't expect was to hear that two of their bandmates had sex in the bathroom and one got pregnant. Both of them being male might they add.

"no... I don't understand."

"What don't you understand, Kev?"

"I went towards the bathroom but not in it."

"What do you-- wait."

Back in the hospital bathrooms, Avi was sitting in a stall, tear tracks smearing his face, Scott kneeling next to him. Rubbing his back. Avi looked up at the other man in the stall with him and finally found, some were within him, to tell Scott the truth.

"the baby isn't his."

"i don't... i don't think i quite understand."

"the baby isn't kevin's, scott. he isn't the father."
