Breaks between tours are a good time to unwind from all the travelling and the shows and the interviews and what not, but that can never last long as they were back on the bus within a week and on their way to Singapore for the start of their Asian tour. It had been a few months and Avi was 3 months along, he was showing a lot. It was becoming more difficult to hide the developing fetus inside him and the time to tell the others about his pregnancy was edging nearer, that was something they all had to acknowledge. But Avi wouldn't. He couldn't begin to fathom the consequences of other people knowing. Friends, Family... Fans... Millions of people would know that he was carrying a baby that didn't belong to Kevin and what would they think? They would think he was a cheat. They were in their hotel rooms and Esther was sharing with Avi since Kevin wasn't looking to be near the man and she was the only one that hadn't either bitched behind his back or snapped at him. She was his daring and caring sister who was always standing by him (SONG REFERENCE!) and they were both in the bedroom looking at baby things when Esther spoke up.

"Hey, Av?"

"Hm?"

"You know... you are getting bigger..."

"yeah...?"

"you know... you're going to have to tell-"

"No."

"Avi, people are going to become suspicious and they'll figure out eventually and then what? rumours spread, mum and dad find out and they'll be absolutely livid! you--"

She cut herself off when she heard shallow breathes coming out of her little brother. She'd triggered a panic attack. Esther was on the verge of an attack herself. Why would she do that? How did she do that?? What made her think it was ok to tell him that??? To say she was shocked was an understatement.

"Avi I am so sorry!! I'msosorryohmigod here."

She handed him a bottle of water.

"drink that. calm down for me, please. there you go."

He had calmed and was looking at his sister.

"why...? why would you go there?"

"sweetie... it's the truth. they're bound to find out about this one day and that one day is closer than you expect."

"i know... i'm just not ready to lose anything else..."

Esther pulled her trembling brother close to her chest. She wasn't just a sister. But a mother to all of them and his family when he needed to talk to them, they were the closes out of all of them, closer than schomíche and that is saying something.

"you won't lose everything. you'll have me. but they need to know at some point."

"who am i supposed to tell first?"

Perfect timing. Esther's phone rang and the caller ID?

Momma

"It's mum. Good place to start, right?"

"not really... it's kinda jumpy..."

"C'mon, av..."

She answered the call and their mother appeared on the screen.

Hey sweeties!

Hi mom!
hey...

What's wrong, Avi.

He has something kinda big to tell you.

Oh?

mum... do you have any baby suggestions.... for names...

...Who's pregnant?! OMG!

...me...

Silence...

...what...?

i can't really explain it but it's not a prank... i know it's not really what you expected but it's kinda what's happening at the moment... so...

You're right... it isn't what I expected... Let me talk to Esther.

Esther lifted the phone up so she was on screen talking to her mother, Avi closed his eyes and went to drift off into a slumber.

What do you mean by 'joke' mother? This isn't a joke mother he is 3 months along!

And I refuse to believe that! This mess better be sorted out within the next 6 months. I won't have a son who is able to carry a baby! I want that baby gone.
*Call ended*

Esther put her phone down in defeat. She really thought her mother would be nicer than that and more supportive of her brother regardless of what he was going through.

"w-well... mum said-"

"i heard."

She hugged him and he buried his face into her chest as he sobbed quietly.

"i'm sorry, av."

"this is exactly what i was afraid of, esther. being judged or not taken seriously. male pregnancies are rare but still frowned upon. next thing i know i'm being disowned by my parents because they're too ashamed or me to be called my parents and i'll be a disappointment to the whole family!"

He continued to sob into his sister's shirt. He expected it. Honestly. But it hurt so much coming from his own mother.

It was getting much harder for him to come to terms with this. But he can't say.
