Chapter 14

Rehearsals again... Performances do require much practice. They were all in their practice space, Avi was wearing a shirt that was bigger than him to hide his growing baby bump and some tightly yet comfortably fitting skinny jeans. Everyone was talking, Kirstie to Scott and Mitch. Kevin to their Craig their choreographer and Avi... was sat in the corner of the room hugging his knees o his chest, staring into nothing. Mitch had noticed his anti-social behaviour because of his current situation and mental state.

Mitch's POV:

Who can blame him? With his mental state and sanity not to mention his past... does Esther even know of this? I need to talk to Kevin about this. He should know, this is his boyfriend. I saw Kirstie walk off to get some water and Scott followed her to continue their conversation. Kevin was stood on his own, checking his phone. Perfect. I approached him. He saw me after my shadow fell over his face.

"Hey Mitchie."

"I really, like, really need to talk to you in private. Now!"

He seemed shocked.

"What happened?"

I dragged him to the other room, I caught Avi looking at us in the corner of my eye and saw his heart visibly break. Poor guy. I shut and locked the door behind him and turned to face him.

3rd Person View:

"What's wrong?"

"A lot of things."

"Is there something I can do to help you?"

"That's a question you need to ask your boyfriend."

Kevin let out a long and heavy sigh.

"This is what this is about? Avi?"

Mitch looked disgusted.

"You say his name with so much venom. What's he done to you?"

Kevin scoffed

"He cheated, carrying someone's baby, put up and act to make him seem innocent even though I know the truth- Do I need to continu--"

Something in Mitch snapped and he doesn't know what but he remembers hearing a loud noise and seeing Kevin holding the side of his face.

"mitchell, what was that for?"

"You don't know the truth, Kevin. You made up a false excuse in your head and claimed it was the truth. In reality, it is nowhere near the truth."

Kevin's face was littered with confusion.

"please explain."

"I heard something last night. Someone having a nightmare. I didn't hear much but I heard two words. Raped and Pregnant. You see where I'm coming from?"

Kevin had to ponder over what he was just told. Nightmare, Raped, Pregnant. His mind was telling him something. Something he didn't want to believe.

"continue."

"The other day after rehearsals, Avi left his phone in the bathroom. He went to his bunk and fell asleep and I checked his messages. I have pictures of the chat he was on."

Mitch pulled out his phone and showed the picture to his bandmate. Kevin scanned over the messages and flipping through the pictures of the chat before handing the phone back over to Mitch.

"You got that?"

Kevin nodded.

"Now piece it all together."

The beatboxer was stood there piece all the information together. It was 5 minutes later when he finally got the whole picture and his eyes looked like they could pop out of his sockets. Mitch just smirked.

"Got it? Or do I have to say it aloud?"

"please just tell me it's not true."

"what? your boyfriend was raped and impregnated by some rando man that goes by 'D' and all we've done was accuse him of cheating? yeah. pretty true."

Kevin ran his hands across his face. His boyfriend. The one that was so hesitant to trust him because of all his past relationships. The one who they had to take things slow because of his trust issues. The one who he promised to keep safe and promised not to let anything hurt him ever again...

The one he let down.

Mitch watched the older man technically break in front of him. He walked to the door and unlocked it before turning to him.

"i suggest you talk to him."

Mitch left the room without another word. Kevin was left to nothing but his own mind and the realisation that his boyfriend was broken and unfixable. Not unless he tried. but he needed to talk to him. He left the room and went back to the choreo rehearsals...

...Little do they know that the room was bugged... their bus was bugged and everything was being audio and video recorded. There was a certain somebody who knew everything and wasn't happy about what they heard and saw and were planning something big.

None of them would've seen it coming.
