"ARE YOU SAYING MY BROTHER CHEATED?!"
"WELL, WHERE ELSE IS THAT BABY COMING FROM THEN?! CAUSE IT WASN'T ME!!"
Esther and Kevin had been in a heated argument ever since Scott had left the room to chase down Avi. They all found out that not only was Avi pregnant, but it wasn't Kevin's baby (who would be the only person that Avi would do anything with. So this was very much a mystery.) and all had one question and it was the elephant in the room to address;
Who's the daddy?
Esther believed that there was any other reasonable explanation for her brothers surprise pregnancy whereas Kevin's mind could only reside (ayye that rhymed) on one reason: Cheating.
Scott and Avi were still in the bathroom, Avi was still bawling his eyes out to him about the baby.
"i--i-i-i--ii---i j-just don't know w-w-what h-happened... i-i-im not a cheater..honest..."
"im not the one you need to convince."
"will he believe me tho?"
"kevin is such a kind man, avi. he should."
"i wanna go to the hotel, scott..."
Scott sat there for a while before he stood and held out a hand for the shorter man.
"let's go then."
Scott took the smaller male's hand to lead him out the bathroom and back to the room they were all in...
That was untill...
"WHAT DO YOU THINK SOME MAGICAL FAIRY CAME DOWN AND CAST A PREGNANCY SPELL OVER HIM?!"
"THERE MUST BE SOME OTHER EXPLANATION FOR THIS THEN!"
"on second thought let's just text them and tell them where we're going."
Scott dragged Avi away from the situation before taking him home, stopping at a barbeque place to cheer him up even though he didn't order much. They arrived at the 'Kaplan-Olusula' hotel room just after 8 in the night and dropped on Avi's bed. Well, Scott was more of a flop. Avi slowly sat on the edge of the bed hugging his knees when he sat down.
"So.. if you don't mind me asking... how?"
Avi looked up at the other man laying next to him.
"i don't wanna talk about it. You should get to your room, it's getting late and Mitch will be waiting for you."
"I don't wanna leave you in this state though. Is there anything I could do for you? Before Kevin gets here?"
They heard the front door open just then and slam shut. Avi looked up at the taller blonde and shook his head.
"you're alright."
Scott stood to leave but pulled the smaller man in for a hug before he left.
"see you in rehearsals, dragon."
"bye, noodle."
Scott left without another word of parting but sent a quick nod Kevin's way when he passed him and left to get to his house or shall I say the 'Grassi-Hoying' room.
Kevin was in the kitchen making some tea before he went to his boyfriend's bedroom and opened the door. The brunette was curled up under his duvet laying in peaceful silence. He looked up to find the taller man stood in the doorway.
"hey ke..."
Avi gave his boyfriend a once-over.
"is something wrong?"
