A beautiful woman lay on a leather couch with only a white silk shawl covering her most private places. She was still as a statue and gazing at the man who had spent hours working. He had been delicately painting every detail of the woman before him. Perfectly matching colors and outlining her features. She moved only her eyes as she looked at the hundreds of paintings, sculptures, and sketches in the white marble studio.
"I told you to hold still." The man huffed without moving away from his painting.
"Yes, yes I know. Haven't you painted me enough times, love? I thought you said you had memorized every detail." The woman hummed and turned her eyes back to the man.

The blonde King of vampires finally turned to connect his red eyes to those of his wife's. He growled lowly as she rolled her eyes at him and gave a teasing smile. She went to move and he snapped his teeth at her. Her brown locks bounced as she let out a bell like laugh. His glare simmered to a playful scowl as he watched his wife laugh. Her flawless skin shimmered from the sunlight that came in from the sky light above them. Perfectly painted red toes and fingers matched the red of her eyes and lips. He loved the color on her. The color was made to be on her. He let out a sigh that turned to a rumbling purr as she stood and the silk fell from her.
"I can and will never stop memorizing you, my queen." Caius said as his eyes danced over her form.
"Is that so, my king?" She purred in response and Caius groaned at the title. He was used to being called a king, but when she said it it was so much more. She truly saw him as her King and her saw her as his Queen.
"I suggest you dress. I hear Alec coming this way." Caius snarled and glared at the door.
"Maybe I will stay as I am?" She teased and snickered as Caius gave her a fiery glare.
"Dress or I will tear his head from his body." He threatened and toss her robes to her.
She caught them with ease and slowly wrapped them around her, making sure to take her time to cover her chest and thighs. They were her mate's favorite pieces of her flesh and she knew he was cursing Alec's poorly timed arrival.
As she tied the robe closed a knock to the studio was heard.
"Master Caius. Mistress Rhea. The coven from Berlin has arrived and Master Aro has requested your presence in the throne room. Your clothes presence." Alec's monotone voice sounded and Rhea giggled.
Aro had made the mistake of summoning Caius and Rhea for an urgent meeting before and the two came wrapped in a blanket. Aro did not wish for a repeat of the two tearing apart a few nomads who couldn't keep their eyes to themselves. Now the raven haired king always included 'clothed' in his messages. Marcus had stopped caring about thirty years ago and just sighed at his brother and sister in law.
"Have the halls cleared, Alec." Caius sighed and gathered his paints to put them away.
"Felix is installing the new lighting in the West wing, Master."
"Tell him to halt or I will remove his eyes." Caius snapped and grimaced as he remembered nearly killing the prized guard when his eyes once found a nude Rhea leaving the studio to proudly strut to their shared chambers.
"Come now darling. You can't shred everyone who sees me to pieces." Rhea mused as she opened the door.
Alec had already vanished in fear of the queen deciding to come out bare. He had already suffered his master's wrath once in the past two hundred years. The Queen was confident and found little reason to stay hidden when she was naked. Granted he shouldn't have run into her chambers unannounced do the fault was on him. He hadn't meant to come across the Queen sprawled out on her bed with little to no modesty. Caius had nearly killed him and Rhea had to pry him off and piece Alec back together.
Rhea strolled through the halls towards their chambers to dress before she joined her husband and his brothers in the throne room. Once she was clothed she found her sister and fellow Queen, Sulpicia, Aro's wife, waiting for her.
"I see you are actually dressed this time, Sister." She raised a brow at the clothed Queen.
"Aro requested us clothed." Rhea laughed and wrapped her arm around her sister's waiting one.
"I see. So he finally learning. Only took him five hundred years." The other woman shook her head.
"Five hundred and nine years." Rhea corrected.
"That's right, isn't it. You and Caius are closing in on your five hundredth wedding anniversary aren't you?"
"That's correct."
"Still am shocked that it took you two nine years to finally wed."
"He is a stubborn man. That hasn't changed."
"You are stubborn too. You nearly killed dear Dora."
"She knew her time with Caius was over. She shouldn't have tried to sneak her way into his bed after they ended their marriage." Rhea hissed remembered her husband's ex wife.

When Rhea joined the Volturi Aro was over the moon to find out that she would stay. Her gift was a treasure, but he had to fight his brother to leave his bitch of a wife of four hundred or so years. Athenadora was a controlling woman who wanted Caius only for his power in the vampire world. When Rhea had arrived and it was discovered she was Caius's true mate Around was quick to try and convince Caius to finally be rid of Dora. It took eight long years of fighting and Rhea to finally decide to leave before Caius found his heart. Rhea had given up and tried to leave when Caius finally fell for her. He divorced Dora and the female had tried to seduce him in order to keep her throne. When Rhea nearly slaughtered her she tried to start an uprising. Rhea destroyed her and Caius took her as his rightful Queen. It was a long hard road for the two, but now Aro had his treasure and was pleased to be rid of the scheming blonde Queen. Plus his brother was truly happy now and no longer the cruel ruler. Well... At least around their coven mates. To the rest of the world he was still the frightening king. Now he was only cruel when his wife insisted on sparking his envy.
"Tell me, Sully. Why has your husband summoned us all?"
"I have told you a thousand times to stop calling me that, Rhea."
"And still I don't listen."
"Yes, I can tell. Any way I heard that a coven has created an immortal child."
"What?! Who is that stupid?" Rhea cried out.
"Rumor is that the Cullens had committed the deed."
"Carlisle and Esme? Surely not. They can not be that foolish."

The two queens entered the throne room and Rhea nearly laughed at the sight of Aro and Marcus's relief at her clothing.
"I am afraid so, sister." Aro sighed grimly.
"This is a disgrace! We should end them all!" Caius was pacing and yelling in anger.
"Calm brother. The Cullens will face judgement soon."
"Very soon." Rhea growled and narrowed her red eyes.
