Elizabeth's gold eyes shimmered from where she stood in the forest. Her fists  dug deeper and deeper into the large pine tree as if it were butter. She was angry. Furious. When it came up everyone would fight her coven, her family, had voted to send her away. Keep her from the danger. She knew they meant well, but she wanted to stand by their side. She wanted to protect them too. Elizabeth's eyes widened as a she could hear a voice calling in her mind. She fell to her knees in confusion as the vision came. She could see through Tanya's eyes as Irina was ripped apart and set a flame. She saw her sister begin to charge and then was stopped when grabbed and suddenly she was looking at the Amazon.

Elizabeth roared out in despair and disconnected her mind from her sister's. Anger filled her. Sadness filled her. Her family needed her. So the young appearing vampire gathered her courage and ran in the direction of the fight. She wasn't there to save Irina. But she could save Tanya and Kate.

"Only the known is tolerable. Only the known is safe." Aro spoke to his guards and witnesses with a disgusting smirk on his face.

"If we knew she could remain concealed from the human world, could we leave in peace?" Edward suddenly asked.

"Yes, but that can not be known." Caius said with a raised eyebrow.

"Actually it can." A new voice spoke and all eyes turned to see a young woman approach the clearing. She wore a white hooded cardigan with a pale blue shirt and simple dark blue jeans. She had on small black flats and wore the hood to cover her face. Though one thing truly caught someone's attention. Alec Volturi stared hard at the stranger in disbelief when he saw a black leather cord with a crudely made ring around her neck. He took a step forward and Jane held him back when she saw the look on his face.

Marcus reached out to Aro and took his hand, letting his brother see the golden mate bond that connected the stranger and their Alec. Aro looked delighted as he slowly began to recognize the girl from Edward's thoughts. The girl who could control the mind. He had wanted her for his guard and was pleased to see that Alec was her mate. You couldn't deny a mate bond and he knew Alec would never leave... So she would join.

The girl stopped several feet in front of the Volturi and spoke again. This time even catching Jane's attention as her voice was comforting and familiar. The Volturi watched as the two blonde Denali sisters struggled to get out of Emmett and Garrett's arms.

"Hello, my dear. You must be little Elizabeth of the Denali coven. I was so hoping I would meet you." Aro cooed and went to step towards her, but stopped when she lifted the hood and heard his two favorites gasp.

Elizabeth's eyes widened as she finally saw the two familiar figures behind Aro. A small blonde girl and a dark haired boy. Both of which had haunted her memory for hundreds of years. Flashes of the past burned through her and she took a step back. She could feel the coiling of the mate bond inside her when she locked eyes with Alec. She could feel every emotion that flowed through him. Suddenly a voice cried out across the field and all eyes turned to see Kate desperately trying to break free from Garrett's hold.

"Elizabeth! Run!" She screamed. She had lost one sister. She wouldn't lose another.

It was Kate's voice that broke the spell over Elizabeth and she turned her gold eyes to Aro.

"My name is Elizabeth Denali and I have proof that the child won't be a threat to our kind."

"How came you by this truth? Are you the Cullen seer? No." Caius hissed.

"I have the ability to control and connect to another's mind. I can see what Alice sees. And since she is not currently here I am the only one who can show you this truth." Elizabeth's voice rang full of confidence as she tried hard to cover the nerves as she felt Jane and Alec stared into her soul,"Let me show you."

She held out her hand to Aro and gritted her teeth when she felt him inside of her mind knowing all she had ever thought. It was during this she in turn saw into his mind to see what he was seeing. She felt his wonder when he realized exactly who she was and she gasped when he began to remember finding and saving Jane and Alec after she had fled, thinking them already dead. She slammed her eyes tightly shut as she felt him relive her memories after that horrible night.

Bleeding and scared she ran from the village. Her screams echoed through the forest as she passed the tree she had spent so many days laying under. Days that would never come again. She clutched the ring in her palms and sobbed out Alec's name. She cried for him, her one love, and she sobbed for Jane, her one true friend. When she came to the river bed and heard the men shouting after her... She dove into the river hoping to meet her death in the water and not in their hands. She felt the current tug her away and the rocks against heer along as she crumpled against them. It felt like hours before she finally began to close her eyes and took her last breath. However, as she began to embrace her death she felt an icy cold touch on her skin. Opening her eyes she smiled grimly when she saw what could only be an angel. Death had come to collect her. Then she felt the burning.

Aro released her hand and stepped back. She had been so caught up in her own memories she hadn't noticed that Alice was suddenly standing beside her and now Aro was holding her hand. Elizabeth sought out Alec and Jane, tears would have fallen if they could. A large male vampire held a restraining hand on Alec's shoulder and another held one on Jane's. She could sense they frustration. Their anger at being kept apart.

"There is no danger here. We will not fight today." Aro's amooth voice rang in her ears and she snapped back to paying attention. When Aro looked at her and then back at his guards he nodded his head, and the two vampires released the twins.

Alec stepped forward and when Elizabeth saw the ring still round his neck she couldn't control herself. She launched forward and was nearly tackled by another vampire who only let her through when Aro hissed at him. The two immortals collided into each other and held one another close. A third vampire gripped her from behind and the three were once again connected.

Across the field Edward tightened his lips into a thin line before quietly explaining to the Cullens and their allies about what was happening. Kate and Tanya slowly gripped each other's hands as they watched their youngest sister. Elizabeth had never spoken once in their life together. It wasn't until she entered the clearing did they hear her voice for the first time. They didn't even know her story, but they loved her. As Edward explained everything to them that he had seen when Aro and her combined everything began to make sense.
