He threw the bottle to the ground and stormed away from me without saying a single word.

I froze in place, ideas storming around my mind like a bullet shooting arena, I couldnt even dare pronounce one of the ideas out loud. Kayl had a drinking problem. Oh my! He’s an alcoholic! Or was he an alcoholic. I sat on the seat in front of me for a while trying to put my thoughts altogether in one place. I learned one more thing about him, and the puzzle seemed clearer day after the other, and some other times it seemed vaguer than before. It took me a while to manage to make my mind up on what to do, then I decided that I should follow him to make sure he wouldn’t do something dumb. The reception was pretty much empty so it didnt take me much time to see where he was at.

"Are you okay?" I asked as low as possible so rose up staring at me so deep I felt intimidated.

"What part of leave me alone don’t you manage to understand." He spelled out with his jaws clenching. "Just FUCK OFF!" He yelled.

"You’re a freaking asshole Kayl or Arsen or whatever your name is." I cried so he was about to reply so I intterupted him. "No no no! You’re an isolated angry evil mean grumpy aggressive person and no good ever comes from your side. I was only trying to be nice. I tried to show you not everyone wants to shoot you in the head, tried to be as friendly as possible to at least put a smile on your face and you were nothing but a regardless prick about it. You wanna be alone go for it! Be my guest, but you dont have to be such a dick in return." His eyes looked atonished and I could feel the knot in his tongue just as I could see it. He stood in quietness for a while, the scary look in his eyes faded away slowly turning to looks of shame. I left him standing in the same spot, rushed to my room and fell asleep faster than I usually do.

The next morning I woke up still surprised by my sudden courage from last night, but a huge part of me was proud of my reaction. I felt relieved and that was when I realized that I wouldn’t take any of what I said back, no matter how mean it was. I headed with Nicole down stairs for breakfast not fearing my meeting with him. I pretty much knew he was going to avoid me, or not show up at all. We made it to the restaurant where we ran in to Justin who was sitting alone.

"Good morning." I smiled taking a seat in front of him so he smiled back. "Where’s Ar,, Kayl?" I asked.

"Don’t know." He raised his shoulders. "He never came back to the room last night."

"Ah,, that young man, I really don’t get him." Nicole sassed.

"Yeah, does any of you know anything about him,, like why is he all quiet and,,, lonely i guess." I asked trying to seen as casual as possible.

"No we dont actually, which is a bit of a mystery." Justin replied.

"He just showed up in the airline unannounced, everyone made a big deal about him even though we’ve never heard of a pilot by this name anyways." Nicole stated.

"Well maybe it’s because he’s English." I justified.

"Yeah actually makes sense." Justin nodded.

He’s from England. The thought echoed in my head. I don’t know anything about him, neither does anyone, but that’s because he’s English. So perhaps,,, oh my! Perhaps, someone from England can be helpful to give me some information. And I happen to know the perfect person for this task, Charlotte David. She used to be with me in the flying academy and ended up getting hired in an English airline; she’s the perfect person and she most certainly can help me a bit.

I finished my breakfast as fast as possible and rushed to the hotel room took advantage that Nicole wasn’t with me and looked for Charlotte’s phone number and called her. Once,,, twice,,, no answer. I thought she might’ve changed her phone number which got me concerned that my plan won’t work out. I stayed in the room for a bit until Nicole came in telling me I should go down to the reception to say hi to captain Cameron who just arrived. I had no idea who she was talking about but apparently she thought I did, so I just nodded and followed her down to the reception where my eyes landed on a guy standing with Lesandra and Justin.
