After what Johnny sent me I was patiently waiting for the police to come into my house and arrest my sorry ass. A few hours passed; it was close to midnight and sleep is finding its way to me, but I can't afford this. I can't afford missing out on a detail or getting caught off guard, everyone and everything felt like it was against me so I had to keep my guards up.

Just when my eyes were beginning to get weak and were starting to lose their ability to stay awake I received a phone call from an unknown number.

"Hello?" I said over the phone waiting to hear Arsen's voice, but I didn't. Instead, I heard a familiar voice.

"Captain Destiny." The man said. "It's me Thomas Blake from the airline."

"Mr. Thomas!" I sighed in relief as this man always comes baring good news.

"Hello captain. There was a matter of sever urgency that I wanted to discuss with you." He paused. "In private."

"Uhmm." I hesitated. "Where and when?" I blurted out.

"Now perhaps. If that's appropriate with you. I know it's late, but I don't think this can wait till tomorrow. I'll send an address to meet me at in 30 minutes. It won't take more than 10 minutes."

"Yea okay. I'll be there."

I headed to the location Mr. Blake sent me. It was like an abandoned parking lot of some sort, it looked creepy but I had no room in my mind to worry about that. I waited for him to come and talk to me about Arsen, or maybe what Johnny told the cops, honestly it could be anything. And all I could do was wait. Until he showed up.

"To be frank, you got me concerned Mr. Thomas. I really hope it's okay." I stated.

"It's not okay. Nothing is okay, ever since Mr. Luiz got arrested." His attitude was harsher than usual, he was missing this soft kind tone of his.

"Yea that was so unexpected." I mumbled scratching the back of my head.

"Unexpected? To you maybe. But we knew. And we all saw it coming."

"Huh?" He was making no sense, and I was getting more concerned.

"Tell me Destiny. Why do you think I hired you? Why do you think you became part of Arsen's crew?"

"Cuz you thought I was a good-" wait what? "Arsen?" He knows his name isn't Kayl??

"You really are as naiive as you seem to be." He smirked. "You were hired to be a scapegoat. You were put in Arsen's and Samantha's crew to go down instead of them."

"What are you talking about?" My heart beats raised. "You were in on this?"

"I chose a naiive young pilot with a passion of flying and put her in our main crew so she would take the blame if things go south. The day I hired you Arsen was so concerned I got someone who's smart or can catch a lead, so he followed you to see for himself." The day he almost hit me with his car wasn't a coincidence. "He came back saying she's dumb enough to do the job needed. But what do you do instead?? You turn our best man to some romantic teenager!"

"That was the whole plan?" My skin was cold and my face was pale, I could feel the blood escape my circulation. "Mr. Thomas what are you talking about?"

"Even the romantic charade was supposed to be fake. It was my plan to have only you fall in love with him so you'd unsee any mistake he makes, but he ended up being just as dumb as you! You had him fall in love with you and he turned our whole plan against us! And now Mr. Luiz is paying for Arsen's mistakes, the ones he made cause of you!"

It felt like someone poured an ice bucket over my head and left me out in the cold weather to freeze to death. I was shocked and confused, and mostly scared.

"Arsen thinks we helped you cheat in the medical checkup so you can stay amongst us, cuz Romeo didn't want you fired. But I had another plan, cause I always saw this day coming. I can tell the world you cheated us. You knew you were diabetic and were putting people's life in danger. Do you know what the consequences to that may be?"

"You can't do that." I was sweating and hyperventilating.

"But trust me I can. Or, you can take the blame for it all instead. Do the real job we hired you for, tell the police you were the one involved in the dirty business. And we'll make sure you are backed up with our best lawyers. A lying pilot who risked killing people or a smuggler. Your pick."

"You don't have any medical records to prove that. And even if, I can tell the police you were part of the dirty business, I can rat you out!"

"It's my word agaisnt yours. Who would the cops believe? What proof do you have against me? I have your real medical records at my office."

"The only place her medical records are at is up your ass Thomas." He came!!

"Arsen!" I ran to him with teary eyes and stood behind him to take some warmth from him.

"If it ain't her knight in shinning armor." Thomas muttered. "You came to rescue her naiive ass again?"

"No, I came to stop you from making a huge mistake. A one you can't afford." He got his car keys out and handed them to me. "Go wait in the car, it's parked around the block."

"No no no, she's not going anywhere." Thomas shook his head like a mad man.

"Or what? Huh?" Arsen said with a relaxed look on his face.

"Or you both die." Thomas pulled a gun out and pointed it at us. Arsen pushed me behind him and kept his arm around me. His body was still and the gun didn't seem to scare him all that much though. Meanwhile, I was on the verge of falling down to the ground.

"Put the gun down, Thomas." His grip on my shoulder was hard, showing he was actually more nervous than he made it look like. "She's got nothing to do with this. You want a scapegoat, well I'm right here. It's time we all pay for our mistakes."

"We? No no no. We're not paying for shit! I'm not going to jail. You are the ones with shit to hide, she with her diabetes and you with your fake identity. Do you know what the truth behind the man you're in love with is??" Thomas was yelling like crazy, his eyes were wide open and his neck veins were popping out. "Do you even think he loves you back?? He's a drunk, he's a murderer! He killed his own sister!"

"Arsen?" I moved from behind him to face him. I looked up at him and before he could say anything Thomas shoots. I didn't realize what had happened until I saw the panic on Arsen's face, I began to feel a burning hot sensation on my left shoulder and it only occurred to me that I got shot when I looked at my shoulder to see so much blood pouring out. My eyes started shutting on their own as the pain got stronger. I am on the floor. I hear one more gunshot, but not at me. A high pitched peep. And I'm out.
