Cally's POV.
"Cally-" Gladion started.
"Please," I begged.
"You're not yourself."
"Stay here tonight," I insisted.
He glanced around, and I bit my lip, not wanting him to decline my offer.
"Fine. Just tonight."
I jumped into his arms, wrapping my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist.
He sat down on the bed with his arms tight around my waist. I smiled up at him, and he threw a smirk back.
He kissed my forehead lightly. I was honestly, literally shocked. I looked up at him in confusion.
"You're the best partner I could have ever asked for," Glad shrugged casually.
I shook my head with a smile, and I laid my head on his shoulder, drifting off into slumber.
