Gladion reacted quickly, grabbing Kiawe's fist to avoid some of the blow. Although he did groan in pain, he stared at Kiawe like the punch unaffected him."Kiawe, knock it off," I scolded, grabbing Kiawe's arms and pulling him back.
"What has gotten into you?" Professor asked.
"You don't even care what happens to her! You wouldn't even know if she was dead or alive. Heck, we don't know if she's still alive!" Kiawe shouted.
Gladion looked hurt, pained, and taken aback by his comment.
"Kiawe, stop. Gladion is-" Ash tried to say.
"Innocent? Really? Is that what you all think about him? That's pathetic," Kiawe said, glancing around.
"He's right," Gladion mumbled.
"No it's not, dude. You don't want to see you partner get hurt. That's understandable," I announced.
"No, it's not understandable. He is being the reason she is in pain. He won't even help prevent her getting hurt," Kiawe stated coldly.
Ash sighed heavily.
