Kiawe's POV.
I sighed as the Professor was teaching. Suddenly, there was a bright white light. We all covered our eyes to block the light out.

"That is the last time we are traveling like that!" a girl yelled.

"It's the only way to travel," I heard what I think is Gladion's voice say back.

"Oh, Lord. Why are you so difficult?"

"Why are you so stubborn?"

The light cleared out and there stood a girl with Gladion, staring each other down.

Kukui cleared his throat awkwardly.

"What?" They both snapped at them same time. Just then, Doctor Oak paced into the room with his Nine Tails. It used to be a Vulpix, but it evolved a few days ago.

"What can we do for you, Gladion?" Oak asked with a stern look.

Something told me that this is not going to be a pretty sight.

"Are we not allowed to drop by and say hi?" Gladion smirked.

Oak narrowed his eyes at them suspiciously. Gladion wrapped his arm around the girl protctively. This girl looked similar to the one that I encountered with the Noivern situation.

"Gladion, we are in the middle of a lesson. Couldn't you and your partner come after?" Professor Kukui asked, annoyed.

"Now what's the fun in that?" Gladion questioned as the Doctor and Professors moved in front of us children. We could still see the scene clearly, but they wouldn't be able to attack us.

The girl, I have yet to have a name for, stared at us kids with an expressionless face. She leaned up to Gladion's ear and whispered something to him, but she kept her eyes in our spot.

"So, which one of you will confess first?" Gladion spoke up. His 'partner' looked up at him, wrapping her arms around him.

Two Lycanrocs suddenly appeared. It was theirs. That wierd form and a midnight form. I was shocked out of my mind.

What are they talking about? Who will confess first? All of these thoughts were running through my head, making my anxiety worse.

"What?" Doctor Oak hid his shock. I wouldn't blame him. Gladion could strike at any moment.

"Who hurt the Noivern? I know one of your students did. And I know which one. My little partner here watches over the forest and informs me of daily activity." By now, Gladion was glaring me down.

I glanced at Professor Burnet. She had a soft look, but I could tell she was worried.

"What are you talking about. We didn't do anything!" Burnet defended. We all knew she was lying, but it was worth a shot.

"I know better." Gladion held his partner closer to him, if that was even possible. She was basically squashed right up against him, but she didn't seem to mind.

"Gladion, you know those battles we fought years ago?" Ash piped up, going in front of everyone.

"Ash," Kukui warned.

"Yes, I do remember. Why do you ask?" Gladion replied.

"Let's settle the score."

"You do realize that I am not here to play games. As you can clearly see, my partner is with me. Therefore, I will not waste her time to battle you. And, for your information, you only won last time because my Pokemon were just recovered from the Pokemon center."

The girl looked up at him curiously. He shook his head and faced Ash again.

"What battles?" she asked, glancing between the two boys.

"Don't worry about it, Cally. It's okay. I'll explain later," Gladion reassured her.

"Can we battle then?" Ash grinned.

"Ash!" Brock yelled.

"He's a goner. It was nice to meet you, Ash!" Sophocles dramatically cried.

The girl, Cally, stared at her partner.

"What do you think?" Gladion spoke.

"Duo battle," is all she said.
