Ash's POV.
"You look like a walking zombie, Kiawe," Brock said when Kiawe walked into the classroom."I feel like the walking dead," he replied, pulling up a seat, and sat down. He crossed his arms on the table, and he burried his face in his arms.
"You good, bro?" Sophocles asked.
"Why does everyone keep asking that? I'm fine."
"Just asking," Sophocles defended, raising his hands in front of him.
"Where is everybody?" Lillie asked, walking into the room.
"I thought Misty and Mallow were with you," Brock commented on the side.
"Misty is, but Mallow is not," she muttered.
"Have you guys seen Cally?" Gladion ran into the classroom and panted.
"No. Mallow is missing, too," Misty stated.
"I swear to Tapu Koko, if that Mallow girl hurts Cally!" Gladion shouted, slamming his hands on the desk farthest from us.
"Mallow would never hurt her!" Sophocles yelled.
"You don't know that! Anything can be a harm to her! She needs to be in view at all times, or she'll do something stupid!" Gladion shot back.
I was frozen, and Kiawe was taking deep, shallow breaths. We were all lost for words.
"What's going on kids?" Professor Kukui questioned.
"Mallow and Cally are missing," Kiawe announced, shocking all of us by his tone. He sounded weak and strained.
Was it the situation?
Or was it what's been bugging him all this time?
Or both?
