Lines.
Lines are everywhere and exist in almost anything you can think of. They appear in everything from the lines on paper to the lines on the floor separating each tile or wood panel. They also exist in different forms; some are curved or dashed or just straight.
The word "lines" is also used to describe the words you have to remember when you're rehearsing for your school play or the things you wait in when you are being serviced at a fast food restaurant.
Lines also have many purposes. They are used to create letters and words, shapes and images and even draw connections between things. Lines can be manipulated to form illusions and create the appearance of things that aren't really there.
Perhaps you've heard of the sayings "that's where we draw the line" or "bottom line". All everyday things that we probably never think too much about.
In math, a line extends in both directions infinitely; forever. Lines are forever.
