Terrance POV

"Make sure they're their hands are tied, we're almost there" I heard a deep voice speak.

I was slowly regaining consciousness, but I kept my eyes shut out of fear of what I might see or what they might do.

"I think this one's waking up" I heard a different voice speak. This one was closer to us, but from what I could hear, my back was to them so he couldn't be talking about me, could he?

Just then I heard a loud grunt. The kind you hear when someone is about to attack.

I squeezed my eyes tight before hearing a loud thud. The sound repeated several times as several screams emerged from a feminine voice. It sounded like Adeline.

"HOLD HIM DOWN!" the deep voice screamed.

"AHHHhhhh.." the familiar scream died down and then silenced. Will.

At this point, I was beyond confused as to what was going on and I was afraid for my life.

Last thing I could remember, I was walking by the hospital, reading the note that I had gotten from Connor. My face began to unwilling turn into a frown. I wish he could be here to save the day for me. Or at least take my mind off of things like he always did.

I let out a sigh louder than I had intended to. I opened my eyes and waited, seeing if anyone had heard me.

"This one's up too" I heard yet another voice speak. How many of them were there?

At that moment, I flipped myself around as fast as I could, being restrained and all, and quickly shook my head. I didn't want this situation to get any worse than it already was.

I began to scan my surroundings. I was obviously in the back of a van. Will's unconscious body was on the ground next to me with what I'm assuming is the man he attacked on the ground in front of him. However, he didn't appear to be breathing. I knew that Will was strong, but I think I underestimated what he was capable of.

To my right, there was Adeline, arm and arm with the boy who had walked past me when I was walking out of the hospital.

Their gazes were on me as if they were contemplating something. "I won't do anything stupid, I promise" I blurted our.

I wanted to get my point across without seeming afraid, but I don't think that worked. They both looked at each other and laughed.

"We know you won't, look at you" Adeline said, continuing to die of laughter.

I didn't exactly get the joke so of course I wasn't laughing, but if you asked her, I'd think that she'd say it was the funniest thing ever.

She was lucky that my hands and feet were cuffed, otherwise, I probably would have slapped her and risked it all.

I stared at her with a bored face so that I could start my series of questions. My mom always joked that if I got kidnapped, they would let me go because I would be too annoying so I was ready to put that theory to the test.

"So where are we going?" They both looked at me annoyed, obviously not going to answer the question.

"So, why did y'all take me? I'm no one."

"You're more valuable to us than you think" the guy said, smirking.

"And what might that value be?" They were quiet once again.

"If you're going to kidnap me, the least you could do is tell me why." They remained silent, and after that, so did I for a few seconds as I thought of more ways to be annoying.
