"sibling rivalry leads to the bitterest competition"

★・・・★・・・★

The drive back to the hospital was swift, and soon enough we were scoping out the area for the doctor from earlier.

I hummed lowly as Five looked out the window and searched the busy streets. He fidgeted with the prosthetic eye and sighed. His jaw clenched and he seemed to be lost in his thoughts as he watched outside of the window. I followed his eyesight to a group of boys, around my age, kicking a can down the sidewalk.

"No." Five shook his head and fear consumed his face. His breathing quickened.

"Five? Are you okay?" I asked nervously.

Tap. Tap.

"Hey!"

Five and I snapped our heads toward the window. There was an extremely muscular man knocking at the door. He walked to the back and opened the door. The man struggled to get himself inside of the vehicle, which was clearly too small for him.

Panting slightly he looked up at Five from the backseat, "You okay?"

I chuckled, "Are you okay?"

His face turned red a little from his embarrassing entrance.

"Sorry. I'm Alexa." I stuck my hand out.

He took it and nodded, "Luther," he greeted.

Five spoke up. "You shouldn't be... How did you find me?"

Luther nodded his head to the back and we all turned around. Klaus sat cross-legged and waved cheerfully. Five picked up an item from inside of the truck and threw it at him aggressively.

He shouted, "Get out! You can't be here!" Five took a breath and calmed down a little. "I'm in the middle of something."

Klaus crawled closer to the front of the car. "Busy with Alexa?" He winked at Five and me. I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, and tried to hide my blushing. Five quickly looked away too.

Awkward silence filled the air, so Klaus changed the topic. "Any luck finding your one-eyed man?"

Five whispered to him, "No."

Confused, Luther questioned him. "What's he talkin about?"

"Does it matter? It's Klaus." Five rolled his eyes and sighed. "What do you want, Luther?"

"Um.. So Grace may have had something to do with Dad's death. I need you to come back to the Academy, all right? It's important."

I felt slightly uncomfortable hearing about their family issues, only because it was none of my business.

Five gazed out of the window. "It's important," he repeated. "You have no concept of what's important."

"Hey!" Klaus interrupted. "Did I ever tell you guys about the time I waxed my ass with chocolate pudding?" He laughed loudly, "It was so painful!"
