As the sun shone brightly through the curtains within Five's room, my eyes slowly opened. Morning had come quickly and a new day began.

My eyes drifted towards Five, who was beginning to wake up too. He slowly sat up on his bed.

"Good morning," I spoke softly.

His ocean eyes shifted to me as he grinned and replied back. "Morning."

"How're you feeling?" I asked.

Five nodded. "Definitely better than yesterday."

"Good." I smiled.

Five began to push himself off the bed, so I walked over to his side and helped him up.

I was surprised to see how quickly he had recovered, but then again, Grace was an intelligent robot with advanced medical knowledge. My powers did play a part in helping too. Also, I had recovered from my gunshot injury relatively fast, so it did make sense.

Five and I held hands as we walked down the steps and into the kitchen.

When we entered the room, Klaus was brewing coffee, while Luther sat at the table. He looked terrible. Luther was wearing a hoodie and he appeared to be extremely hungover. Klaus, on the other hand, was super energetic, which was odd because he was a mess the day before.

"Well, what a pleasant surprise! Good morning you two," Klaus exclaimed as he handed Luther a small mug. "Here we go, this'll fix ya."

We sat down at the end of the kitchen table. Five reached out for the mug before Luther could even take a sip of his coffee.

"Nice, okay!" Klaus poured another cup of coffee and handed it to Luther once again.

Five lifted the mug to his mouth and drank some of the dark liquid. "Jesus. Who do I gotta kill to get a decent cup of coffee?"

Five scrunched his nose and put down the cup immediately.

Luther grunted. "Can we get started please?"

"Started on what?" I asked curiously.

"Klaus has something to tell us," Luther replied.

Klaus walked in front of us and looked around. "Anyone seen any of the others? Diego? Alison?"

"They left the Academy last night to find more information on Harold Jenkins," I said as I remembered their conversation.

"All right, then, this is the closest thing we have to a quorum," Klaus tapped a metal spatula on the table loudly.
