The boy flattened out the uniform he was wearing and turned to face me. "Who are you?!"
I leaned on the wall behind me and tucked a strand of blonde hair behind my ear. "Alexa.. who are you?"
He breathed out a laugh and looked away, "Its complicated...

The stars twinkled and the moon shone bright within the night sky. Wind sporadically blew and sent a chilly breeze throughout the air. I crossed my arms as the boy and I walked down an empty street. An awkward silence had taken over ever since we left Griddy's.
I've always hated when it was quiet. Mostly because it reminded me of 'home.' Shaking away flashbacks of my past, I decided to speak up.
"So are you going to explain to me what just happened back there or what?"
The boy chuckled lowly. "I could ask you the same question."
I rolled my eyes. "Can you at least tell me your name?"
"Five."
I looked over at him as we continued walking. "Five? As in.. the number?"
"Yes. Five as in the number," he replied simply.
This boy was strange and very mysterious. I felt like I needed to figure him out; I wanted to figure him out. There are so many questions that popped into my head. Who were the men back at Griddy's? Why were they hunting him? Why is his name Five? How did he do that teleport trick?
I thought about the possibility of him coming from the same place I had came from. No, he couldn't be. I don't remember him being apart of the team. Plus, it was almost impossible to escape the Order. I nearly got out with my life.
"How did you do that trick back there?" Five interrupted my thoughts.
"Hmm? What trick?" I took a minute to think about what he said, and then realized that he was talking about my 'ability.'
I looked down at the ground before answering, "It's kind of a long story."
Five grinned a little before making eye contact with me. "I've got time."
I looked into his emerald eyes, wow they were mesmerizing. I felt like I could trust Five, but I wasn't sure where to start.
I hesitated before speaking, "1989." The mention of the year seemed to interest Five. "Forty-three children were born with unbelievable abilities that no one had ever seen before. There was a group of scientists who wanted to make more children 'special,' so they created an organization known as the Horror Order. These scientists adopted a surplus of orphans, and ran a variety of tests on them to try and inject them with powers."
