Katy's POV
I listened as Ansel called his girlfriend Mary and dumped her. He hung up and looked at me. I smiled and blushed a little too. He smiled back. Now what?
"Will you Kaitlin Reed, do the honor of going on a ride with me?" He said holding out his hand for me to take. I reached for it. Then he pulled me to his car and he wrapped a blindfold around my eyes.
"Where are we going??" I said with a huge smile on my face.
"You'll see." He said. I whined. "Pleaaaaase tell me."
"Noooooo." He said and we both laughed.
After about half an hour. We stopped and I knew it wasn't a red light or stop sign either. I heard the car door shut and mine open. I reached out until I felt Ansel's warm hand against him. When we touched, it felt like magic. And it was perfect.
I felt his arm around the back of my thighs. He puck me up wedding style which made me giggle. Then he put me down and took off my blind fold. The ocean crashed and water went up onto the sand. I smiled. "I wish you would have told me!" I said. "I would have brought a bathing suit."
"Who says we need bathing a suits?" He said pulling off his shirt and slipping off his flip flops. Oh my fucking gosh. I examined his six pack of abs he looked up and saw me staring, I quickly looked away, my cheeks getting pink.
"You like what you see?" He teased and I laughed I looked at him to see him grinning. He took off his jeans and ran towards the waves in just his boxers. "Oh my." I laughed. I watched as he jumped in them like a little kid.
I quickly slid off my skinny jeans and shoes. Than as I was running I pulled off my shirt and threw it onto the beach. I ran into the water as a wave hit me right away. I felt the salt water burn my eyes and it stingy tongue. I pulled up out of the water from which I was under. I gasped for air and laughed as Ansel tried to dance.
He grabbed me and threw me into the waves, I held my breath as I went under. The water was warm, like Ansel's touch and it made me happy. I was happy to be with him now, I just don't honk he feels the same about me. And I don't want to ruin our friendship.
I crashed through the surface of the water looking at Ansel as a wave came down on him. I giggled as he tried to swim away but failed to do so. After he didn't come up, thats when I got worried. "Ansel!" I yelled. "Ansel!!"
Then I felt something grab me and pull me under. When I jumped back up Ansel came up with me. "You asshole! You scared the shit out of me!" I yelled hitting him in his bare chest.
"Ow!" He said. The he looked up at me with a smile. I smiled back. After we finished jumping the waves and splashing each other we walked up the beach together.
We watched as the sun set, it was beautiful. Amazing. Teenagers are supposed to have moments they'll remember forever. This was one of them. Ansel and I laying on the beach together, our shoulders touching and we are watching the sun set. After that we walked down the beach. They had the lights on now, so we could see. We talked for what felt like hours.
"You know it's nice having someone to talk to." He said, I smiled at him. "Yea."
"You know how you talked about teenagers and how we are supposed to live and everything?" He asked and I nodded in response. "Well is it bad that I'm still a virgin?" He asked.
I spit out the soda I was drinking and stopped. "What?" I asked. He laughed then got serious. "Do you really think of give myself to a girl like Mary?"
"Oh." I said. I loved how he wasn't afraid to admit his to me. The only thing is, I am a virgin too. "Yea, me too." I mumbled and I felt my cheeks get pink. He looked at me. "Good." He said.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Nothing." He said. "But-" I started but he changed the topic. Did he literally just say good. Does he like me? No. He can't, I don't want to risk it.
We drove back to my house. I said he could stay the night. We walk inside and we both finished laughing since he told me a funny joke. We stopped laughing and I looked up at me. he was staring back at me. "Can I kiss you?" He asked quietly. I nodded. He leaned in and kiss me. I didn't hesitate to kid back. Then we pulled away from each other. Our noses touching. He smiled and so did I. Did this really just happen. "Kaitlin Reed, I must say you're a fantastic kisser. And tomorrow night I would be so great full if you went on a date with me. I smiled and pulled my head off of his. "I'd love to." I said.
Tonight when we watched a movie, it was different. I was happier, it was more relaxing and I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. My head was on his chest and his arm was around me. His touch sent chills through my body.
This moment was perfect.
Two good memories in one day.
That made it even better.
