Katy's POV

Ansel slept on the floor in Aurora's room last night. I told him he didn't have to but he said he wanted to. So he did. She woke him up six times last night and now I felt bad about it. He was still asleep because of how many times she woke him up. And it was 11AM.

I held Aurora as I fed her while talking on the phone. "Yes! That would be great. Okay? See you soon. Love ya!" I said to Alex before hanging up. My phone went off right away though. "Mason? Yes, I know." I said as he went on and on. "Ok. Yep. Bye." I said again, before hanging up with him.

I finished feeding Aurora, so of course when I patter her back for her to burp she spit up on me. Luckily I had one of those blankets over my shoulder.

I went over to the little playpen thingy we had downstairs. I tend to be calling things 'thingy' a lot because I can never remember the names of those things anymore. I laid her down in there real quick to make lunch. I mad three ham and cheese sandwiches. One for Ansel, Alex, and then one for me. Alex should actually be here any- the doorbell rang. That's her. I opened the door to see a smiling Alex.

She rolled in and turned to face me. "Where is she?? Where's my baby girl?" She asked and I laughed a little, so did she. "Taking a nap." I answered. Alex sighed loudly which made us both crack up. We talked for a while and then Ansel came down. I laughed but covered my mouth right away with my hand.

His hair was in all directions, he had huge bags under his eyes, and a spit-up stain on his shirt.

"Ansel, baby you're a mess." I said walking over to him as he rubbed his eyes and stretched. "Hey I gotta go. I'll call you then, Jason wants to meet up." Alex said. I ran over to her and we gave each other friendly kisses on the cheeks. "Bye." "Seeya!"

Aurora was sound asleep. So Ansel being his flirty self took advantage of it.

I walked back over to Ansel after Alex had left. "I-" He said then yawned. "I need some loving. He said and wrapped his arms around me, locking me between them. I laughed and kicked as he swung me around. He put me down and I turned to face him, he leaned in, but I stopped him. "Aurora." I whispered and pointed into the living room where she slept.

He shook his head and walked away. Why was he mad? He never got mad at me for this before.

"Ansel." I said following him up the stairs but I made sure I made sure Aurora was on first.

"Remember when we were teenagers?" He asked, turning around and facing me. I nodded slowly. I had no idea where this was going. "We didn't give a fuck into world, but we were in love."

"What are you saying Ansel?" I asked.

"You love me right?" He asked, and I saw the worry look on his face.

"How could you ask such a thing! Of course I love you. Ansel I've been in love with you for years now." I said taking a few steps closer to him. He looked at me. "Ansel what's going on?" I asked. "I love you more than anything and you should know that."

"And so do I Katy, I love you more than any person or thing on this world." He said. "I just... I am just feeling out of it today." He said. I reached my hand over and grabbed his. I held it tightly, then stood on my tippy toes and gave him a kiss.

"We are adults, so what, I still love you. We are parents, but I still love you. And tomorrow and all the days and years after that, I will still be in love with you Ansel." I said. "And although a lot has changed, my feelings for you haven't."

He smiled lightly. Then I heard a cry an I looked at him. He nodded. So we went down the stairs together and I took care of Aurora. He headed to the bathroom down here because our master bathroom shower needed to be fixed. We had some type of plumbing issue. Which we are getting fixed today, actually.

Then we had to head to the store, so Ansel was now ready and so was I and Aurora. Ansel was driving so he got into the car first, while I put Aurora in her seat and strapped her in. Then I climbed into the passenger seat. We desperately needed to go to the store.

Ansel pulled out of our driveway and headed to the store. We didn't put on any music, last thing we really wanted was our baby girl's first  word to be one out of a wrap song. I smiled at Ansel, though he kept his eyes on the road.

He put his hand down on the arm rest in between us, and grabbed my hand. We were quiet as we held hands and went down the road smoothly. We reached the highway, the store that is a couple blocks away from us, (the one we usually go to) was closed because of a fire.

So now it would be a while until we reached the store. That one and the smaller store beside it were the closest ones to our house, and the only ones in our neighborhood.

After about twelve minutes, we got off the highway into the busier streets where all the lights were and everything. We stopped at a red light. Ansel looked over at me and smiled. "I hate having to drive out this far." I said and he put his eyes back on the road. "Me too." He said.

"I'm glad Alex came by. I still feel so guilty about what happened." I said looking down.

"Stop, Katy. Don't put yourself down. It wasn't your fault. Ok? We can have another wedding, and this one will be perfect, and Alex will be here." He said. "Really?" I asked now curious if we could redo our wedding. "Of course, I would get married to you over and over again. It would be my pleasure." He smiled as th light turned green.

I looked over at him, but it didn't last long. I went to scream as I saw it. The truck. It came towards us, not slopping nor slowing down. It was as if it was in slow-motion as the truck slammed into our car, Crashing into the glass on Ansel's side, his face turning the other way.

And then it all hit me at o-
