6 months later

Katy's POV

It was time to worry, I was about to hit 9 months in my pregnancy. That meant my water could break at any moment. I guess. I only got so far in my first pregnancy sadly.

Ansel was taking me on a date. I don't know why, he just decided to take me out to this Italian restaurant.

"I don't see why-" I started to say but then he cut me off. "What's so bad about a guy taking his beautiful wife out on a date?" He said. "I love you, that's why."

He grabbed my hand as we got closer to the place. We should be there in a couple of minutes. I never ate at the place we're going to, but I heard it's good. I'm getting salad though, that's for sure. Jess was in some type of restricted place thing that was supposed to help her out of this mess. To help get her old self back. I can never remember what it's called. Alex is doing fine. I talked to her the other day, and she stayed at our house for a few weeks. She promised she would be there for me when I have the baby.

We found out the gender of the baby, it's a girl! I was so excited, so her name would be Aurora. We definitely wanted to have a boy then too though, one for Ansel to 'father, son bond' with. We had a baby shower already too, and we decorated Aurora's room. It had pink walls with butterfly stickers on it. Then there was dark hard wood floors (we redid them), with a large soft, white rug. And a crib that was made of the same dark wood with pink, blue, and white butterfly sheets on the little bed. There was a white dresser along with a white change table. And a brown wood rocking chair in the corner and a closet on the right side wall.

It was adorable.

Now, we pulled into the parking lot and went into the Italian restaurant. We sat at the table and ordered. "Thank you for this Ansel." I said. "No need to thank me. I'm just glad to be here with you." He said and smiled at me.

"I love you." He said. And after a few awkward seconds he looked up at me. He immediately saw my facial expression. He stood up quickly, but I didn't move. My water just broke. He pulled out my chair for me and I stood up, now I was in a rush. Ansel wrapped his arm around me and pushed through the crowd quickly. I walked as fast as I could with my large baby bump. Ansel unlocked the car and had me sit in the backseat.

I inhaled and exhaled deeply. I was freaking out. We arrived at the hospital in just four minutes, it wasn't far from our house or the restaurant we were just at, thankfully.

Ansel wrapped his arm around me again, allowing me to put all of my weight on him. He wasn't picking me up, not because he wasn't strong enough but because he was afraid something bad might happen if he did. He literally just said that to me, except it went like this, 'I want to pick you up but I'm afraid of what might happen if I do.'

And now hear I am, laying in a hospital bed.

Ansel's POV

*The next day 6:39 AM*

I held my beautiful baby girl in my arms as I sat next to Katy who was laying there. Aurora was born at 5:49 this morning. May 7th was the date. And this is one of three happiest days of my life. The first was the day I met Katy, even though I was sick, second was the day I married Katy, even though I was shot, and third was this day. The day my first baby girl was born. The only day out of those three that doesn't have a bad part in it.

Katy was in pain still, but she was happy. She smiled as she watched Aurora carefully. I was with Katy throughout the whole time when she was giving birth. I concentrated on her. I held her hand, the whole time and told her to breathe and stay calm.

I handed Aurora back over to Katy and looked over at Alex. She had came right away, and actually showed up nine minutes after we did last night.

"She is perfect Katy, you two made a perfect baby." She said and rolled her wheel chair closer to Katy's bed. "Thanks Alex." Katy and I both said. "I'm sorry I'm so impatient but, may I?" She asked still smiling.

Katy nodded. "Of course." Then she handed Aurora over to Alex carefully.

Alex held her close and whispered, "I'm your aunt Alex." Katy smiled as she reached over and grabbed my hand. I held hers tightly as she did mine. Alex is like Katy's sister, and I'm glad she is here. She may be in a wheelchair, but she's here.

After a few minutes Alex handed Aurora back to Katy. Mason was here, and he was happy again. He was moving on and over Jess. He smiled at Katy. "You did good cuz, you did good." He said. Katy's dad and Lilly were here too. We hadn't seen them in forever. They were in Tennessee for some reason for the past few years. I knew Katy kept in contact with them though.

Lilly was bouncing with joy. "I'm so glad it's a girl!" She cheered. "I can braid her hair when it gets long enough, ooooh I can give her all my toys I don't use anymore and show her how to play with them!" She went on and on, but it didn't bother any of us. "Shh...baby girl keep it down." Her father spoke gently and quietly.

"Katy?" Lilly said.

"Yes?" Katy responded.

"Can I sleepover this weekend?"

"We will see." Katy answered and Lilly giggled then continued talking to her father.

A couple days later, Katy was free to go home, and so was Aurora. I stayed with them the whole time, of course. Katy had out Aurora in her crib upstairs since she fell asleep on the ride home. Then she came down and plopped down next to me on the couch. She curled up and laid her head on my shoulder. "We did make a beautiful baby." She said and smiled. "I know." I said. "But only because of me." I joked and she sat up and punched me in the arm and we both laughed.

"You have tonight." She said. "What does that mean?" I asked. "If she wakes up you have to go take care of it." She said. I shook my head and chuckled a little. "You're funny." I said.

"Ansel!" She laughed. "I just gave birth, you can handle the rest of this week. It's just three nights."

"Oh I see so now it's three nights?." I joked and we both laughed.

"I love you." She whispered.

I kissed the top of her forehead. "I love you too Katy."  We laid there for what felt like forever. But it was perfect.
