I screamed as my eyes flew open and I woke up laying in my bed, Ansel laying next to me. "Baby." I whispered jumping out of bed and running over to him. "Ouch!" I said as I looked at the wire attached to my arm. I ripped it off causing blood to run down my arm from where it had been attached.

"Ansel." I said quietly but I ended up sobbing. I held his hand tightly but there was nothing holding it back. I heard feet running, ten a nurse shouting at me to get back into my bed. But then I tuned it all out. "Ansel, please." I sobbed. Nothing. His heart was still beating, but it was like he was in a coma.

Then I felt something. I felt a squeeze on my hand. I looked down at hit, for now there was something holding my hand back. I smiled a little but kept on crying. I felt a grasp on my shoulder and I stopped tuning everything out. I now heard the doctor that saved Ansel's life speak to me calmly, but he kept his hands on my shoulder, "Sweetie you need to get back in bed. You're bleeding. And you are not ready to be walking yet."

"Thank you." I said, my voice rough as I laid back down and the nurse came in to patch up my arm. The doctor smiled at me. "Everything will be ok." He said. Apparently I had a concussion. I had been hit with a board upside the head and passed out. I then rubbed my fingers together and looked down at the wedding ring on my hand.

"We washed it off for you dear." The nurse said. "It was a bit messy." She smiled slightly.

I smiled a little then wiped away the tears. The wedding, it was awful. I never thought that was how my wedding would turn out. I knew it had to be perfect before I even had it, and it was. Until the first blast went off, hitting my new husband in the stomach.

Soon I jumped up, not out of the bed  but up. I heard it. I looked over and I felt my heart beating fast. I screamed as the beep continued on. "HELP!" I screamed jumping out of bed, not caring if my arm would bleed again. "HELP!" I kept on screaming as I ran over to Ansel's bed. "No, no, no, no, no!" I screamed. But right as I stretched my arm out to touch his hand again, I was pulled away.

"NO!!" I screamed. "Put me down!" I yelled punching at the officer's back. I reached for him but doctors rushed into the room and surround Ansel. I screamed louder this time and punched harder at his back. But then I felt a pinch in my stomach. I looked down to see a needle in my back. I looked back to Ansel's room, which I was still being carried away from. Then it faded away, it kept fading until everything was black.
