As I looked back at Magnus, I saw him smiling at me. I giggled at him teasing. "What's so funny?" "Hehehehe, Oh nothing." After a short silence came, he interrupted that silence and he talked to me with a serious tone. "The guards are ready for your inspection on their training. The new recruits will be here before lunch." "Alright, thanks for the update."  We walked back to the training area of the guards and watched them carefully. "They are improving very nicely." Magnus looked at me with a smile on his face. As I looked at him, I smiled back.

Oh yeah! I forgot to introduce him to you guys. That's Magnus Kales. My second in command in the pack and my childhood friend. We used to hang out together and do cool stuffs before my coronation as a princess and my baptism as an alpha happened. Time flies so fast that I just saw us being tall and mature.

Anyways, I looked back at the guards that are training and I smiled. I felt proud for my pack. As they finish their training early, I immediately told them what I saw and felt and I saw some of them smiling at me and my reaction. "Alright, all of you are now dismissed. All of you can go home and have a week-off." With my big surprise, they clapped at me and shouted, "Ma'am yes Ma'am!" I was actually smiling at them. "Alright, you guys can now go." I saw them go by groups and they all disappeared.

Magnus puts his hand over my shoulder with a smile on his face. "You did pretty good at them." "Yeah." I looked at him with a smile. "I guess they're lucky to have me as their alpha." "Of course they are." He said with a giggle. After a minute of silence, he became serious. "Let's continue and proceed to the last task for the half of your day." I nodded and started walking towards my office. As we entered the office, I realized about the time. "Magnus, I think we're too early to start." "Do you want to have a break for a while? I mean it's fine. The new recruits aren't here yet anyway." I looked at the window and sighed lightly. "Alright, let's have a break for now." I looked back at Magnus and saw him nodded.

We didn't left the office so that the new recruits can just knock on the door to give us a notice on them. I felt bored all of a sudden and saw Magnus putting his chin in his hand while looking at the window. "So now what?" Magnus asked me with sigh. "I don't know." I sat beside him and rested my arm on my lap. "What do you want to do while waiting?" "I don't know either." We exchanged looks and suddenly looked the other way. I peeked on him and saw him blushing bright red.

I broke the silence between us with a question. "How many new recruits am I even going to interview?" Magnus suddenly looked at me. "Just 3. Though they're not from here." "I see. Where are they from? Have you met them already?" "Yeah, I already met  them in guard training. They are from 3 different worlds. One is from Howling woods, one is from Ocean world and the other one is from Silent forest. They are also royalty so I guess they are princes of those worlds." I looked at him with surprise. I never thought I am going to talk to foreigners as new recruits plus they are royalty.

Magnus tries to snap me out. "Hello, Magnus to Mal..." I heard him snapping his fingers in front of me and shook myself up. "Are you alright? You look like you saw a ghoul behind me." "Yeah, I'm alright." As I regain my consciousness from thinking, we heard a knock on the door.
