~Alex's POV~
I left the deeper part of the cave and made my way back to the entrance of the cave where I sat with worry over Mal. Knowing it's her test, I need to control myself on not disturbing her. She needs this. As I was gazing in the still night sky, I heard footsteps behind me. I turned to look at the wyvern from before. I suddenly stood up.
"What are you doing here? Where's Mal?" I asked immediately knowing something felt wrong.
"Your majesty, please do not worry, the princess is now encountering her test. She will be finished by sunrise." He remarked. I looked at him with relief yet worry hasn't left my mind for Mal.
"Mal is still in the process of realization on her test." He added.
"What do you mean?" I asked, confused to what he stated.
"It means your majesty, she hasn't realize her true purpose of her test." He answered.
"Then what is her purpose in the test? What she only know is to relax, how will she pass if she only have one instruction?"
"Her test is to escape her area right now. I only told her one word that way she cannot relay on anything for her to learn." He explained as I listened intently.
"As you may notice, werewolf prince, the time stopped. The stars and the moon right now is not moving. It will move again when Mal starts her true objective in her test." He added as he growl into the night.
I felt a strike of relief and worry mixed together in me as I imagine how Mal is doing in her test.
~Mal's POV~
After what seems like 4 hours, I woke up with a start. I felt relaxed yet impatient as to when the test will end. I walked around the room, hoping to find some idea to get out. I looked at the locked door and an idea came to mind.
Quickly jumping to the couch for my bag, I immediately tried finding my spell book. As I touch it's cover, I flipped through the pages firmly, finding the spell I needed.
Reading the spell, I aim for the door hoping to burst it open.
"Make it fast, make it quick, open up without a kick!" I casted as my hand glowed with a green aura aiming at the door. Magic bursted at the door, trying to open it yet it failed.
I tried relaxing to control my emotions as I assure myself that it will work. Attempting to cast the spell once more, I aim once again at the door. Casting the spell, nothing again happened.
"Is this door, magic-proof?" I questioned myself. Getting confused about the test.
Another idea came to mind that made me act immediately. Focusing on the locked door, my eyes glowed green as I aim my hand at the door and cast another spell.
"As the clock ticks, Pick the lock, make it open with a shock", I stated yet again, nothing.
"Ugh, fine time to do the old fashioned way." Without further ado, I walked towards door and took a pin from my hair. Putting it in the keyhole, I tried to pick the lock knowing it works every time.
Right on cue, I heard a click sound on the other side letting me know that it is now unlock. I quickly grab my stuffs and opened the door, entering me into another room.
"Oh great, don't tell me this test is some kind of riddle or even an escape the room challenge." I groan yet immediately smile as to try myself relax remembering the wyvern's instructions. I quickly left the first room and started to look around my new area. I suddenly heard a squeaking sound behind me as I turn around and saw the door slowly closing.
