~Mal's POV~
As we ready our weapons just in case, we started moving forward with our travel knowing that we have plans when something did go wrong. Our horses moved in a slow pace since they are scared and nervous about the area. We're all silent and alert, looking around every time we hear something out of place. Rustles of trees and bushes makes us feel nervous and the sound of our horse's hooves makes our spines shiver. "Don't let your guard down and keep on a look out. We don't know what this area has in store for us." I said as I reassure my friends who were growing pale with every step. I readied my sword as I deposit it from its holder and grip on its hilt tightly. " Its so....quiet. Too quiet." Sam added as we all felt a chill down our spines that made us even more nervous.

Sam is right, its all too quiet here. Its like we're being played by our enemies right now and if we don't get pass the area, we might get stuck here in the danger zone. My thoughts were snapped when I saw a movement in the corner of my eye that almost made me jump. I turned to see my friends stopped from their tracks, looking paler than before. I stopped my horse and turned to them knowing they also saw the quick movement at our right side. "Guys, I think someones watching us." Angel said as she looks around and deposit her sword from it's holder. "Let's try to keep moving 'cause if we don't move now, we might get stuck here making it easier for them to actually attack us." I snapped as the four of us shared glances and nodded. As we started moving once more, I moved at the back of my friends so I can reassure them and help them out with their fear.

I saw Alex and Sam depositing their swords as well as they hold it's hilt tightly. "Angel, take the sky." "Sure thing!" she said as her wings open and flew off, making a gust of wind and dust made its way around Angel's horse; that made it sneeze. We kept moving with Angel spying above us that made us feel a little safe... For now. After a few hours, Angel reassured us from above. "We already passed half of the area, let's just keep moving." I nodded as she continued spying above. I gasp as I saw another flash of movement on our left side. "We're not alone here."

~Alex's POV~

I said with a worry tone as I stop at my tracks and felt my ears twitch as I hear a whispers. "Alex, what's wrong?" Sam asked as he and Mal stopped beside me looking at me with fear in their eyes. I felt myself holding the hilt of my sword even tighter making my fingertips white from the pressure. "Uhm... Guys, someones coming right for us!" Angel exclaimed as she pointed behind us making all of us below look behind us as we hear growls and howls that made my ears shift downwards from fear. "Run!" Mal shouted as our horses neighed in fear and started galloping forward making me almost fall from the speed. The howls and growls we heard behind started to grow louder as it ran closer at us. Angel flew below and rode on her horse as it kept its speed on the ground. "What were they?!?!" I asked Angel who was now beside Mal. "Werewolves! And They don't look friendly!"

My eyes widened from Angels answer as we kept on moving in high speed. The sun shined below us letting us now that it's already noon making my stomach growl from hunger and churn from fear. I kept my gaze forward on the path we're taking until something shot my back letting a yelp escape my mouth. The others looked at me with wide eyes and got hit as well making them scream in pain. "They're shooting rocks at us!!!" I snapped as I looked back and felt my soul leave my body as I saw a pack of werewolves from the kingdom trying to take us down as they ride their own horses. "OMEGAS!!! RUN FASTER!" I growled making all of us almost lost our breath from the chase. From the corner of my eyes, Mal cast a green forceshield around us as it also move with us with great speed.

"This will shield us from those damn rocks." She said with a smirk on her face making myself blush from her beauty but I shook it off. We kept moving with great speed but the growls, howls and the sound of the extra sets of hooves haven't left our ears even from the distance we already made at them. "We can't shake them off our tails! What do we do now?!?" Sam suddenly panicked making me feel cold. Sam is right, what do we do now if we can't loose them? Our plan didn't actually worked because of the ambush the omegas planned out. I saw Angel as she helped her horse move faster with the use of her wings, Sam sweating as if he was the one running and Mal shooting arrows from her quiver at the werewolves behind as it flies past the inescapable shield around us, making them move slower but angrier than before. Shoots! What do I do?!?! I know the whole kingdom like the back of my hands, there's gotta be another way we can go. Wait... The messenger route! Why didn't I think of this from the start ---facepalming in my head.
