💠STOIC HEART💠
Have you ever felt that you could never, ever, forgive someone for what they did to you, or to a loved one?
I have.
Have you ever thought that you'll never be forgiven just because of those things you've ever done?
I did.
They say, "Forgive but don't forget."
I say, "Forgetting comes with forgiving."
To your broken heart, I know forgiveness is the hardest pill to swallow. More so, forgetting is just a mere illusion not substantial to forgiveness.
It's normal to be angry. It's normal when you can't forgive, yet, because you're simply hurting. But, what's normal now, may be creating a wreck of havoc in you.
It's not easy to forgive especially if the person who have hurt you, didn't even ask for it. It's not easy either to forget all about those sleepless, helpless, and past hurts that it caused you.
Ang hirap hindi bumawi kapag ikaw na 'yung nasaktan. Ang hirap bumawi kapag ikaw na 'yung nawalan.
Ang hirap magpatawad kapag hindi ka pa handa.I believe that that when these memories come back to haunt us, we need to forgive...to forgive again and again.
I'm just like you...
Someone unable to forgive someone and myself from all the hurts I've had.
Beloved, take heart. Be it known that you're not alone in the need to forgive again. May we be reminded that each time these memories flashbacks, we choose to re-forgive those people who have hurt us.
Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.
Matthew 18:21-22 NIVYou can't truly forgive, unless you also forget. Because the beauty of forgiveness, can be manifested if you are able to forget the memories that used to destroy you.
See this as a perfect way to truly see the beauty of love.
Dahil kaakibat ng pagmamahal ang pagpapatawad at paglimot.
Because no matter how much you have been wronged, how much of these times you choose to forgive, or how badly you hurt someone; love covers all inequities.
What matters most at the end of the day? It's not about what you did that pleases anyone, but what you did that pleases God.
Embrace and release the pain, because it's already anger and guilt that is dwelling in you, it's okay not to be okay.
It's okay that you can't forgive, yet, as long as you give yourself first the forgiveness.
Remember, you can't give, what you don't have.
Today, let your stoic heart, be changed to a strong and forgiving heart.
Thank you for existing!
One with your pain,
@cloakedlove
