Belles POV
"Belle?" Ruby's voice asked from the other room.
I'd just had a shower and was slipping into one of Ruby's more comfier red dresses.
Usually the shower is where I think, but this time, I just stood there and let the water trickle over me. Staring into space, only moving to wash and rinse my hair.
"Mhh..." I said, slowly making my way into the other room.
"Emma just called me, she says, if I see you, that you need to go to the station, make a statement - but only when your ready," Ruby said.
"Did you tell her I was here?"
"No,"
"Thank you...can't she just come here?" I ask, I don't want to leave this room.
"Um no...it has to be recorded and filed and all sorts...but she says when you're ready," She smiled sympathetically.
"Let's go then..." I said, taking a deep breathe.
I guess going out for a bit is better than staying here, unable to hid from my thoughts.
"Are you...are you sure?" Ruby asked frowning.
"You do know that Golds-"
"I don't want to know," I cut her off.
"I understand, I'll grab my coat," she smiled.
Rumples POV
I stand there leaning against the bars.
Waiting for something to happen, but nothing did.
Until Emma's phone rang.
She picked it up, then glanced at me and shut her office doors and turned around.
Who could be on the phone?
Why can't I hear?
I turn around and rub my eyes.
Why is this happening.
"Tired, Rumple?" Mila said, she hadn't moved from the bed since we'd got her.
Don't speak to me - it's all your fault. I ignored her.
Down the end of the corridor where I couldn't see, I heard the door open and close.
I shot up and raced to the bars.
Footsteps made their way down the hall.
Please please please please.
Belle turned round the corner.
"Belle," I breathed, reaching my hand out of the cell.
"I'm so glad you-"
She took a step back in shock, even though she was on the other side of the room.
What's wrong with her?
Hasn't she come to tell everyone the truth?
To get me out of here?
Emma came out of her office and put her arm around Belle.
Belle was just staring at me.
"Belle?"
She didn't reply.
"Come in Belle, you don't have to speak to him..." Emma said, guiding her to the office.
I didn't know what to say.
Emma gestured to the chair in front of her desk and Belle sat down with her back to me.
What's going on? Belle come on!
