31. Party Time

Beth's POV

The boys lead me back stage, where they had hung banners and balloons along the walls. Some had 'Happy Birthday Beth!' written on them, others had their faces on. Niall seemed to notice me looking at the balloons and laughed.

"Yeah sorry about the balloons, we had loads back here, and Louis thought it would be funny."

At the mention of his name, Louis turned around from in front of us and smiled innocently.

"Well?" He grinned,

"Nice." I laughed, "Now I can see you faces more!"

Niall laughed, looking up at the balloons as we passed them. The pictures were really old, back when all their merch first started coming out.

"You were really cute back then, you guys." I smiled,

"Were?" Harry protested, "You mean we aren't anymore?"

"I'll let your girlfriend answer that for you." I grinned, laughing as Harry turned to Tamsin, who smiled and kissed his cheek as he did.

He smiled giddily, holding her hand as he walked behind us. Niall did that same after he saw my reaction, smiling down happily at me as he rounded a corner and opened one of the doors.

I recognised it as the one that we had first met them in, except this time there was a coffee table in the middle with snacks and a big pink cake with several different layers on top. There were also balloons and banners around this room, except all of these ones had birthday messages from different people on them. All the members of 5 Seconds of Summer were there too, all called out when they saw us come in.

They were saying different things like 'Happy Birthday Beth!' and "Happy nineteenth!' and various other greetings.

I hugged and greeted them, before refocusing my attention on the balloons around the room. I went around reading them.

So you're 19 now? Seems like only yesterday that we were fangirling in the formroom over new haircuts and vines, but now here we are, with One Direction!! Hope you have a lovely day!!

Hi there, Beth! I'm sure the other boys have already told you how much we have enjoyed having you stay with us, and you probably don't want to hear it again, but I feel like you should know. We'll all miss you at the house, but I wish you and Niall well! Happy nineteenth!

Finally I got to the most important one to me, Niall's. His was green and had writing all over it.

Beth. I don't know how to sum up the feelings I have for all the times we've had together. I've never felt so happy around anyone before, and I hope that you feel the same way as I do. I mean everything I've said to you, everything I said about how much I love you, how much I want to spend all the time in the world with you.
