15. What Goes Up...

Beth's POV

After a while I had sat down on the seat in the middle, being careful to not be caught looking at Josie's phone to see who see was texting. It seemed as though her and Zayn were texting each other, even though they were just opposite each other. I read what her screen said:

Z: Are you ok?

J: I hope you realise that what you did wasn't right.

Z: Just let it go. For god sake you know I didn't mean it.

J: If you didn't mean it you wouldn't have done it.

Z: You don't understand, I barely know her.

J: Which makes it even worse that you would even think about going out with her.

That was all that the screen showed, and it made me worried for where their relationship was going. It didn't look good. The fact that they haven't even looked at each other all day wasn't a good start. Niall was talking to Louis quietly, and kept looking over to me every now and then. Finn and Lucy were still talking, but it seemed a bit more serious now. I couldn't see Finn's a face at the moment, since he was facing away from me. However I could see Lucy, who looked solemn. It seemed as though their argument had upset everyone.

Soon enough, we got off and started walking back, no one said a word. When me and Niall offered to take the others out to get a pizza, Zayn and Josie refused, saying they had other things they had to do. Finn and Lucy said they would like to but had plans elsewhere, (details in the next chapter Lucy!) so the rest of us carried to the pizzeria down the road. Even we didn't speak as we walked, it seemed as though the tension had silenced all of us. But even though we didn't speak, me and Niall would occasionally look at each other and smile, or he would squeeze my hand affectionately.

We sat down in the restaurant, and after we had ordered, Louis finally broke the silence,

"Ok, so whats up with those two?" He said, crossing his arms,

"I think he cheated on her with another girl." I sighed, "I can't believe he would do it though."

"Neither do I." Liam said, "I think there's more to this than we understand."

"Everything isn't always what it seems, I find." Niall said.

"I hope so." Tamsin said, "I don't want things to end between them so soon. They seemed to be really happy together."

"He was telling me just the other day how much he loved her, and how he wanted us to see if we could bring you guys on the tour." Harry sighed.

"What are we going to do?" I mumbled.

"I think at the moment we'll just have to wait and see if they sort it out themselves," Liam said, "I mean, we aren't really supposed to know about it."

"It's pretty obvious though," Niall said, "if they thought we didn't know about it, or wouldn't find out about it, well, it wasn't going to happen."

"Anyway, how about we just enjoy this time at the moment." Harry smiled, kissing the top of Tamsin's head.

"Yeah, they'll sort themselves out." I said, before I mumbled, "Hopefully."

After we finished eating, we made our way back to the car and filed ourselves in.

"What about Zayn and Josie?" I asked, "how are they going to get home?"

"He texted me earlier on." Louis said, "they're already home."

I nodded before he started the car and drove through the busy streets of London.

I'm surprised we haven't had any run ins with fans yet, since it's in the middle of their tour, and you'd think that more fans would be on the look out for the boys on their days off. I'm not complaining, it just seems weird that everything seems to quiet.

I was sitting on Niall's lap in the car again, and to be honest, I'm glad that there isn't enough room for all of us in this car, cos if there was, I wouldn't have an excuse to be close to him all the time.

"Whats the plan now?" I asked Louis, who was trying to make his way around a particularly slow driver.

"We haven't really got one." He shrugged, "have you?"

"Well I don't think we should go back to the flat just yet, incase those two want some time to themselves to sort things out." I said,

"Yeah I think you're right." Liam sighed,

"I think I have an idea." Harry spoke,

He handed Louis his phone, which was in the maps app. He took a quick look, before looking back up and smirking.

"Away we go."
