12. Surprise

Beth's POV

"We're going to have to be careful with this," Niall warned, "The fans are out and about today, not only for us, but Finn as well."

"It's ok," I reminded him, "Lucy told Finn to meet us around the back, and we'll sneak out without anyone noticing."

He nodded as we looked out the window at the sea of fans down on the streets, bustling around and trying to get a view of their favourite boys.

"Come on, guys." Zayn waved us over, "The cars ready to go."

I shrunk back into the room as Niall waved goodbye to the fans and closed the window. I went out of the room first to make sure there wasn't any fans lurking out in the hallway. When I saw it was clear of them, I beckoned them all out as we ran around the corner to the fire exit and down the stairs.

As we all got into the car park, I suddenly realised something.

"We can't all fit in this car!" I shouted, "we barely fit in there together last time!"

Just as we all started worrying, a grey Audi pulled into the car park. Lucy ran over and knocked on the window, which rolled down as she began talking to the person inside.

"We can take 3 more people in here." She called, "Beth, Josie, Tamsin?"

"If that's alright with him?" Tamsin called, walking over.

I waved Josie over as I followed them over to the car. Lucy opened the back door as we piled into the sleek silver car. I looked over to look at who was turned around to talk to us as we got in. Oh my god. Finn Harries. Hold me.

"Hi there." He smiled, "you're Lucy's friends?"

We nodded silently, all a bit star struck to be in the same car as Finn himself.

"Hey, love." He grinned as Lucy got in the passenger seat.

"Hi, baby!" She replied, leaning over to kiss him as she sat down, "Wanna go out with One Direction?"

"Well I have you so..." He smirked.

"You know what I mean!" She laughed, "where are we going?" She turned to us.

"I don't know, I'll ask the boys." I said.

"Phone them using the car," Finn said, tapping a few buttons on the screen on the dashboard, "we can keep talking to them as we go."

I connected my phone to the car, and called Niall.

"Hello?" His Irish voice rang down the phone,

"Hey, Niall," I said, "we need to know where we're going."

"Um, you happy with following us?" He asked, "we have an idea, but we want it to be a surprise."

"Sounds good." I said,

"Yeah, I'm all excited now." Josie laughed,

"I dig it." Tamsin smiled,

"Take it away, maestro." Finn grinned.

Mumbling was heard on the other end of the phone, before Niall hung up and their black range rover moved out, us following.

A while later, we were driving along the coast. It was relatively quiet, only a few people were walking along the pavements and on the beach. The boys pulled up on the curb and parked as we parked behind her. We shuffled out of the car to see all the boys looking off into the distance and smiling. When I followed their gaze, I realised where they had brought us.

"Do you recognise where we are?" Niall smirked as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Of course!" I shouted, "I was a directioner!"

"Beth! We're at Clevedon Pier!" Tamsin squealed as she ran up to us.

"I know!" I smiled wildly.

I looked around to see Lucy and Finn chatting, and Zayn showing Josie around. I ship both of them so hard. Linn and Jayn. Cute.

"Shall we have a little look around?" Niall looked at me, nodding his head in the direction of the pier.

"Yeah, let's go!" I grinned, running off ahead of him.

I ran along half of the pier before stopping to look at the view. It was amazing to be where they stood only a few weeks beforehand. Just as the rest of the guys caught up, Josie, Tamsin and Lucy all joined me in leaning against the fence to look over at the coastline and sea.

I heard Niall come up behind me, but before I could turn around, he held me into him by my hips.

"You and I," He sang to me, "We don't wanna be like them, we can make it 'til the end. Nothing can come between,"

"You and I," Zayn joined in singing, but to Josie, "Not even the gods above, can separate the two of us. No nothing can come between,"

"You and I," Harry joined in, "Oh-oh-oh you and I."

I turned around in Niall's grip, and kissed him on the nose. He smiled shyly in response, kissing me softly back.

"I love you, Niall." I smiled, blushing from his little 'performance' before.

"I love you too." He seemed to blush himself from what I said.

"We going to go for a walk on the beach if you want to join in?" Zayn called back to us as him and Josie walked back down the pier.

"Yeah, we'll catch up with you in a minute." I replied, grinning to myself about what just happened.

"What shall we do in the mean time?" Niall smirked at me,

"I could think of a few things." I put my finger on my chin mockingly.

"Like this?" He whispered, as he leaned in and kissed my again.

"Hey!" I heard Lucy shout from beside us, "PDA!"

"Says you!" I laughed, "Look at yourself!"

She was standing with Finn holding her close to him with his arms around her lower back, and her arms around his neck. She looked up and down their position, before shrugging.

"Shall we go for a walk before we get told off again?" Niall chuckled,

"Yeah, let's." I smiled, taking his hand as he led me back to the other end of the pier.
