Finn's POV
I woke up the next morning to the peaceful and soft breathing of Lucy, who was sleepingin front of me. Her back was pressed against my front as I hugged her. I lifted my arm from around her, careful not to wake her up. I crept across the room, moving towards the door and towards the kitchen.
I decided I'd make some breakfast for her, since it was her birthday. I moved around the kitchen quietly so I didn't wake her up. I started making pancakes, since in the past he had said how much she had loved my pancakes.
After a few minutes, I had made a good stack of them and put them all on a plate, putting the plate along with a bottle of chocolate sauce on a tray. I took the tray to our room, to find she still hadn't woken up. I put the tray on the bedside table, before gently shaking her shoulder to wake her up.
"Lucy...Babe, wakey wakey." I whispered softly,
She tiredly opened her eyes, but smiled once she saw me hovering over her.
"Hey, baby." She rubbed her eyes, and quickly looked over to the table, "Is that what I hope it is?"
"If you hope it's pancakes, yes." I laughed, "Happy Birthday, Luce."
"Aw, you are too sweet!" She cooed, pulling me down to the bed as she hugged me.
"I know. I know." I nodded, chuckling.
"Come. Eat with me!" She said, grabbing the plate and putting it between the two of us.
"Pancakes are not complete without the sauce!" I smirked, reaching out to grab it.
Instead of pouring it on them like she expected, I opened the lid and pouring it directly into my mouth.
"Oi!" She laughed, taking the bottle off me, "The point of completing the pancakes is actually putting the sauce on them!" She laughed, doing it for me.
"I know," I nodded, "I just love me some chocolate sauce."
She giggled, taking the first couple of bites of hers. I loved her laugh, it never failed to cheer me up. I laughed along, taking a pancake for myself.
"Lucy." I smiled, turned to face her properly,
"Yeah, Finn?" She swallowed,
"I love you." I grinned wildly,
"I love you too, boo." She laughed, kissing my nose affectionately,
"But like, really I do."
"But like, so do I." She giggled,
I pulled her towards me, holding her close to me and resting my head on hers. I rubbed her back with my thumb, kissing her head.
"Why are you so, huggy?" She asked,
"I don't know." I laughed, "I just feel like it."
"Alright then." She laughed, pulled back to look me in my eyes.
I'm so happy we're together. She's so wonderful, pretty, and funny, and it just makes me glad that she came to us at comic con. Little did she know on that day that her decision to come and see us would result in us getting together. But I was definitely glad she did. I can't imagine my life without her. I just wanted to stay there with her all day, holding her close to me and telling her how much I truly love her.
"What shall we do for your birthday then?" I smiled, holding her hand.
"Can we just kinda do our own thing?" She said, "Maybe we can go out with Beth, Josie and Tamsin later, but for now, I just want to go somewhere peaceful."
"Sounds good." I smiled, "Finish your breakfast and get ready then, we'll go when your ready."
"Alrighty then." She said, continuing to eat the pancakes.
I closed the door to leave her in peace, and went back into the kitchen to clean it up.
She soon emerged from our room, dressed in skinny jeans and a loose fitting T-shirt with 'Be Yourself' written on the front. I smiled warmly when I saw her and she quickly smiled back.
"Where should we go then?" I asked her, interlocking my fingers behind her back, holding her close to me,
"I don't mind, where do you want to go?" She asked,
"Well it is your birthday," I laughed, "You get to decide."
She looked down, frowing in concentration as she thought. She suddenly looked up, beaming brightly.
"I know!" She said excitedly, "You know that forest a few minutes away from here?" I nodded,
"We should go there." She smiled, "It's nice and peaceful."
"Okay. Let me just get ready first." I kissed her forehead before releasing her and going into our room to get changed.
Little does she know what I have planned for her later...
