"phoebe! come here!" yelled brian

phoebe walked to him and frowned. "what?" she asked

he smirked. "shawn is going to pick up his siblings from the airport and i can't go cause manny needs me there, wanna go with him?" phoebe hesitated but accepted.

"sure." she gave him a smile.

phoebe was here for a week and half now, nothing happened between her and shawn since the day they talked in the bathroom, they were still talking but nothing more. the wedding was coming soon and she had no idea of what shawn was doing with heather.

shawn walked downstairs and smiled. "hey guys, so who's coming?" he asked

phoebe put her hand in the air and stood up. she saw heather came and wrapped her two arms around shawn's neck, he laughed and kissed her cheek.

"see you soon babe." she told him, he smiled and pecked her lips.

they both walked to the car and entered in. phoebe felt jealous and hurt, she had no right to feel jealous since shawn wasn't hers but a part of her hoped he would become. phoebe didn't look at shawn until his hand came in contact with her thigh, she glanced at it and slapped it.

"get yours hands off me, shawn." she mumbled

shawn frowned. "what happened?" he asked, was he kidding? was the only question phoebe was asking herself

she scoffed and looked him straight in the eyes. "what happened? are you seriously asking me this?" she yelled. "almost a week ago, you were throwing yourself at me and now you're being all lovely with heather? what the fuck?" she added

shawn was slightly taken back by her voice ton. "but..." he started but she shook her head.

"i'm not finished." she murmured. "you kissed me, twice! you told me that you were ready to cancel your wedding and left with me and now you're ignoring me, i don't even know what you want to do with your marriage! i was waiting for you, shawn." she screamed at him, tears streaming down her face.

shawn didn't believe it: she was waiting for him.

he looked down and gulped. "i'm sorry." he told her

"sorry? you're sorry? not enough shawn, you're just playing on two boards and i don't like that at all." she said looking at the road.

phoebe couldn't help but felt like she was being mean and it wasn't in her nature to be so mad at someone but shawn was playing with her heart and she wasn't okay with it.

"did it looks like i was playing on two boards?" he asked slowly, phoebe just nodded. "fuck." he mumbled. "i didn't mean to, phoebs."

she shrugged and kept looking at the road ahead her, she didn't really know if she should believe it or not.

"i promise you that i wasn't playing on two boards, i just don't have the balls to tell heather." he admitted.

"and why?" asked phoebe, he needed to answer so she could carry on with or without him.

he ran his fingers through his soft hair. "because, i don't know if i should do it or not. i talked to my mom and she told me to think and i thought." he told phoebe. "but what if heather tries to hurt you?"

phoebe laughed. "okay, i'm leaving tomorrow." she told him. "i'm going to book a flight tonight and i'll leave."

shawn stopped the car brutally and gasped. "no you aren't." he yelled. "you're staring here with me." he said. "phoebe, i need you."

she shook her head. "no, you don't." she mumbled looking at the window. "follow your heart, and your heart doesn't want me or heather."

shawn started the car again and drove to the airport, the rest of the ride was silent, none of them talking or looking at each other. shawn parked the car and waited for his siblings to arrive.

as soon as shawn saw them, he hopped of the car and walked to them, bella did the same and followed shawn behind him. two boys and a girl greeted shawn by a warm hug and stared at the woman.

"hey, i'm phoebe." she told them softly.

the older boy grinned. "so this your fiancée, bro?" shawn blushed and shook his head. "oh, my bad well i'm scott." he said smiling.

"i'm jake." told the younger one, he was the same height as shawn but had brown eyes. "and this is aaliyah, the little sister." he laughed.

phoebe laughed along with them as they walked back to the car, before they got in the engine, aaliyah grabbed phoebe's hand and dragged her on the side.

"phoebs? why does shawn look so angry?" she asked looking at his older brother.

phoebe sighed. "aaliyah, can i tell you everything when we're home?" she asked

aaliyah nodded and got in the car while shawn stared at them weirdly, phoebe closed her eyes and slowly fell asleep earring the mendes family laughing about an old story.
