"Elio! Stop messing around, please." Begged Shawn as I watched my little boy giving my husband some hard time. "Uncle Brian is going to be here soon, so please behave yourself."

Elio sighed. "Are Armand and Leah going to be here?" Asked my four years old. "I just want them to be here! And so do Elijah!"

Armand and Leah were one year younger than Elio and Elijah, they loved each other and would do everything together.

To be honest, Shawn and I had a hard times with the kids especially with Elio. This little boy had the answer to everything and couldn't stop talking back. On the other side, Elijah was a sweetheart. We were a little surprised, because we always thought Elijah would be the rebel one.

"Babe, are they going to be here?" Queried Shawn.

I shrugged. "Yeah probably, I mean why wouldn't they be?" Elio listened closely. "Don't worry, E. Your girlfriend will be here." I teased.

My boy rolled his eyes, annoyed by my comment. "She's not my girlfriend, mom!" He complained.

Elijah walked in the bedroom, cup of water in his hand, glasses on his nose as he let out a chuckle hearing his brother. He quietly sat on the bed, watching his dad helping his twin.

"That's not what you said." Mumbled Elijah, looking away.

Shawn arched an eyebrow, smiling. "Oh yeah, what did Elio say?" He asked.

"He...he said he liked Leah cause she was so pretty." He spilled out. "He also said something else."

Shawn told him to come closer so he could whisper in his ear, Elio walked towards me with a mad face, then managed to hide behind my legs as he watched his brother with madness. Elijah's tiny hands wrapped around Shawn's ear as we heard whispers in the room, the tall curly head pulled away chuckling and shrugging.

"Mommy, I don't like that." Sniffled Elio as I pouted, taking him in my arms. "They're making fun of me! Why don't you say anything!"

I softly chuckled, kissing his cheek. "Baby, they're not making fun of you don't worry." I told him. "And, if they do, I'll take care of it." I whispered in his ear as he pulled away, wrapping his arms around my neck.

"Thank you, mama." He softly told me, playing with my hair.

I let Shawn and Elijah together, and walked downstairs. Elio still wrapping around my neck, just enjoying my embrace. I put him on the kitchen counter as he sat down looking at me.

We kind of worked in duo in this family of four, Elio always had a soft spot with me and Elijah with Shawn. Most of the times, Elio would stick with me the whole day or just ignore me. Not going to lie, but they were both mama's boys even though Shawn hated that.

"Between you and me, do you like Leah?" I queried, knowing he would tell me the truth.

He shrugged. "She's beautiful." He whispered. "But, I'm afraid uncle Brian will be mad at me..." He slowly admitted.

I turned my body towards him, grinning. "Uncle Brian won't do anything. Aunt Poppy will love it though." I laughed.

He nodded his head, swinging his legs in the air. I finished the last thing to do before having everyone at home, Aaliyah was supposed to be here with her boyfriend, Karen and Manny together as usual, family Craigen and Matt; the rest couldn't come. We didn't have a special occasion to meet, we just had this tradition where we would gather all together and spend the day together.

Knocks on the door interrupted me, luckily Shawn arrived at the door before me so I could finish these. He let everyone in as I heard Armand and Leah laughing. Two arms wrapped around my waist as I could smell Shawn's cologne.

"Hey you." He whispered, kissing my neck. "You totally disappeared when we were talking upstairs." He added.

I chuckled, throwing my head backwards. "Stop, you're tickling me with your curls." I laughed out loud. "Alright, stop I have to say hello."

"Go, I will finish this." He smiled as I kissed his cheek, thanking him.

I walked in the living room, seeing everyone. I waved at Poppy as she excitedly walked towards me. She gently hugged me and squealed in my ear.

"Oh my god, I missed you so much!" She told me as I smiled at her. Poppy had this positive energy around her that I loved. "Go say hi to everyone else!"

I laughed. "Hi, guys!" I hugged Karen and Manny. "You probably wonder where is your grandsons, well busy with Brian's kids." I laughed as Karen rolled their eyes.

"I might just go upstairs to see them." Joked Karen.

I nodded. "You probably want to do that. There is no way they're coming back down, especially with Leah around them."

"Oh, does any of them has a crush?" Asked Manny as I hummed, drinking my glass. "I'm betting on Elio, he looks like a heartbreaker!"

I gasped as Karen playfully hit his arm. "Don't say that about your grandson!"

"Personally, I highly think dad is right." Commented a woman behind me, I turned around meeting Aaliyah and Theo. "Sorry to break it to you, Pheebs. But, Elio is going to be a heartbreaker."

I shook my head. "Just like his dad." Said Shawn behind us as we all rolled our eyes. "What! See, Scott and Jake and would have laughed instead I'm stuck with the unfunny part of the family." He complained, pouting.

"Okay, enough! My little boy isn't going to be a heartbreaker." I mumbled. "He is going to be well behaved or else, I'm going to kick asses." I laughed. "There is no way he hurts a girl..."

I left Shawn with his parents and walked to Matt and Brian, who were already drinking beers in the garden just like old men.

My arms went around their necks as I kissed their cheeks, I always enjoyed having Shawn's friends as mine. We just happened to build a strong friendship with them, my kids considered them as their uncles, they were family.

"How are my boys doing?" I queried as they shrugged.

Matt sighed. "Could be better, Maddie and I broke up." He admitted, drinking his beer. I gasped, staring at him. "Yeah, I know." He sadly mumbled.

"But, what happened? She seemed deep in love with you!" I commented, still shocked.

He shrugged lightly. "She cheated."

"What a bitch!" I almost yelled but quickly checked if the kids' window was open.

Brian let out a laugh. "That's what I said!" He patted Matt's back trying to make him feel better.

"You deserve better, you know that." I whispered as he hummed. "Tell me if you need anything."

He was about to talk but Elijah cut him off by hugging his legs. "Hey Uncle Matt!" He cheered.

"Hey big boy!" Smiled Matt, taking him in his arms hugging him tightly. "You do be looking good, man!"

He blushed lightly. "Thanks to mommy."

"Good job, Pheebs." Winked the red head.
