"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you." Shawn heavenly sang in her ear.
He was awake for a while now, he just stayed in bed watching her sleep. The sun was shining on her as soft snores were coming out of her lips.
He laid a soft kiss on her kiss, making her groan. "Come on, wake up babe."
She groaned, rolling on her stomach. "I don't want to, Shawn."
Shawn laughed quietly. "Don't be silly. You have to get up, we are spending the day together."
She smiled widely before opening her eyes slowly. "Morning."
He slowly leaned in, pressing his lips on hers. "Happy birthday." He pecked them again. "Again."
She giggled against his lips, sitting up. "Thank you, babe. So what are we going today?"
Shawn hummed. "Going out on a nice dinner, and, a nice walk. Something just with the two of us."
"So no friends or family?" She queried.
He shook his head. "Does it bother you? I mean...I still can plan something with them..."
She laid her hand on his jaw and, rubbed his cheek sweetly. "Don't worry." She grinned. "Now that I think about it, we never spent any of our birthdays only the two of us."
"Oh, yeah, right!" He beamed. "Anyway, we get ready and then we start your big day."
She chuckled, nodding her head lightly. Phoebe grabbed clothes while Shawn was in the shower. They were basically living together again, but they never talked about it. Brian was now living with Poppy and, Shawn had a free room even though she would wake up by Shawn's side every day.
The bathroom's door opened, revealing her boyfriend. He offered her a sweet smile before disappearing somewhere else. Phoebe ran into the bathroom and got ready.
"Shawn?" She called him, walking in the living room. A chuckle escaped her lips as she saw scooby-doo on the television. "Do you still watch that?" She asked
Shawn paused the cartoon and, scratched the back of his neck. "Uh, yeah. It's great."
"It's more than great, Shawn! I used to love that show and I still do." She told him, laughing.
After finishing the episode, Shawn and Pheebs were finally ready to leave for her day. Shawn was planning this since they got back together. He couldn't help but get excited about it, he knew Phoebe like the back of his hand, he was sure of his surprises.
Their first stop was the CN Tower, basic but he had to kiss her at the top.
Kinda cliché, eh?
That's what she said, as soon as, he cupped her face for kissing her lips. But, he knew deep inside that she loved the concept.
Their next stop was her favorite restaurant in town, Alto because Pheebs couldn't stop repeating that she was hungry. Brian helped Shawn on that one, he had no idea of where bringing her so, Brian convinced him to go to that cute restaurant downtown who did French gastronomy.
"I can't believe I'm 27 years old." She groaned, drinking her wine. "I'm so old."
Shawn rolled his eyes, grabbing her hand over the table. "You are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen." He spoke, making her blush.
After an hour or two, the couple was finally going to their last stop. At Shawn's amazement, Pheebs have never been to an aquarium, luckily they had a big aquarium in Toronto. Shaw didn't even know that it was here.
"Thank you for today, it was amazing." She said in the car.
Shawn giggled, shaking his head. "It's not the end."
She frowned. "What do you mean?"
"I planned one last thing, and, you will love it." He said with confidence.
She sat up, squealing. "Gimme a hint!" She pouted as he shook his head. "Come on! You're no fun!" She added.
Shawn sighed. "Think of Nemo. That's the only hint you'll have."
The rest of the car is full of Pheeb's mumbles, trying to find the last place and Shawn's laughs.
"Are we here?" She asked looking around.
Shawn nodded, turning the engine off. "Yup, take my hand." He spoke, as she grabbed his cold hand. "Jesus, you're warm." She chuckled
"And you're cold." She pointed out with a little laugh. "So, where are you taking me this time?"
Shawn smiled cheekily. "To the aquarium." He replied.
Her eyes went wide as she stopped to walk. "What the- Are you serious?"
Her boyfriend nodded, grinning at how much she was excited about this. She kissed him thank you and grabbed his hand, walking in the big aquarium, a smile on their faces.
"I can't believe you took me there." She murmured in awe, watching the jellyfishes. "It's so pretty." She said to herself.
Shawn cleared his throat. "Let's sit down and talk." He told her. "I just miss our little talk."
She simpered. "Of course. Thank you again."
"Don't thank me, Pheebs." He replied as she laid her head on his shoulder.
She kissed his cheek softly, leaving a lipstick. "I love you."
"I love you more." He whispered, too afraid to break the moment. "Happy birthday again."
