3rd POV

"If we see the Beast tonight I will take him on if I have to," Scott says making everyone stop what they're doing. 

"Scott you can't take him on by yourself," Y/N mutters and everyone agrees. 

"You're not taking it on alone, Scott. We can't lose you," Stiles mumbles. 

"He's right, Scott. Too many people care about you for you to do that," Lydia adds. 

Scott slams his hand on the table shouting out "It doesn't matter if y'all lose me I'm willing to do that to protect all of you!"

"That doesn't matter! You are my brother and if you think that I will let you fight alone without a fight, you're so wrong!" Y/N yells then pauses, "Matter of fact go ahead and leave Mom and I like Dad left us for all I care," Y/N says before rushing out of the room leaving a sighing Scott, Corey following soon behind. 

Y/N stares at the stars thinking of what their life would be like without all the supernatural drama. Y/N soon breaks out of their daze when familiar arms wrap around their waist. 

"What are you thinking about?" Corey asks staring into the sky. 

"Everything and even that dumbass in there," Y/N chuckles before turning around to face Corey.

"He only wants to keep everyone safe, Y/N. You know that." 

"I do but he's my big brother and I don't want to lose him," Y/N whimpers. 

"I know," Corey sighs while wrapping his arms around Y/N. 

Y/N lets out a huff, "I'm going to help him fight if I have to."

"No, no, nada," Corey says in reply.

"Why not?" Y/N questions, moving away slightly.

"I'm supposed to protect you. Let me protect you."

"I can protect myself."

"Right," Corey groans, looking into Y/N's eyes.

"The plan is to go into the school tonight so I'm going to be there."

Grasping Y/N's hand in his he says, "I'll be right beside you."

Y/N stands in the distance behind the pack as they race to find the Beast.

Stiles and Scott ran to each other asking the other if they have seen it; of course, they both denied so they both went looking again. Y/N called their shot to go and look for themself.
