When Derek forgets to buy your favorite ice cream that you've been dying for.. since you are 5 months pregnant with his child.

You were currently sitting on the couch until you heard the sound of the loft door opening. Derek walks in showing a soft smile before placing the bags onto the counter.

You stand waddling over to where he stood, "Hey Der!"

He places a hand onto your stomach whilst wrapping one around you, placing a tender kiss to your cheek.

"Hello to the two most beautiful girls in the world," he says and you can't help but smile.

You then helped Derek take out the groceries hoping to spot your delicate snack along the way. But it never came. (idk if you're allowed to start a sentence with 'but' and idc 😂)

"Derek!"

He rushes over to you, looking to see what's wrong.

"Did you forget something?" you question slightly agitated. He looks around confused before realization hits him.

"Your ice cream, I'm sorry babe. Don't get angry it's not good for the baby."

"I'm not angry!" you yell and he stares unconvinced. "Okay fine maybe a little," he laughs but you pout.

"I'll go get it right now," he smiled.

Leaning into him you say, "Thank you."

"No problem."

He places a kiss to your lips before heading out the door.
