Y/N's POV

I hurriedly got into my car and took a few deep breaths to concentrate.

"You need to focus on the task at hand Y/N! What the hell is wrong with you? We don't have time for this." He screamed at me as the water kept rushing onto my body.

"I know." I gasped for air before going back in.

Once I had gotten what I was looking for I came back to the surface and hurriedly came out the cold body of water, "Ryan?" 

I then noticed the trail of blood leading towards the end of the hall and I followed it. My body shook while the crisp air hit my wet clothes but I feared what I would find around the corner. 

"Ry-" His body was sprawled across the wall, blood dripped down onto the floor continuously while he heaved.

I ran towards him, trying to find what was keeping him there but I wasn't fast enough because he stopped breathing, and his eyes became lifeless. Something I will never forget because it was my fault. I was the one who caused my brother to die.

It's been so hard to let myself off the hook because of what happened, many people had gone to the limits of despising me because of what I didn't do. He and Arcades were so close and it's so crazy how people used to say they "loved you" but then turn their backs when something goes wrong.

"It wasn't my fault! I never meant for this to happen Cades!"

He turned around and looked at me with glass (or is it glossed?) eyes, "You need to leave and never come back."

I just stood there and watched him walk away, not knowing what to do.

But I found a new place to live, started my life again, and met amazing people along the way.

I snapped back into reality, wiping the tears away before pulling out of the parking lot, and headed to my house. When I pulled in, I jumped out and took my bag with me to get dressed. My hair went into a bun, my suit was placed on securely, arrows along with my sword went into their respective places, and I was off to the address I was sent.

I had entered the building through the back entrance and I listened for voices which was the key to staying alive. Walking over to the ledge that gave a wide view of the building, I looked over to find three men talking amongst themselves but I did notice one of them to be Lyle.

"She's here." One of them said and the others looked around. 

"Really?" Lyle then nudged the other guy I didn't know and pointed towards me.
