3rd POV

During this time Max had been with Isaac for almost a year and things were fantastic between the two. That Saturday marked one of the biggest achievements within a relationship and Max was ecstatic to be able to spend time with him. 

Once Max had arrived at school she spotted Isaac. Walking over to where he stood, which was in front of his locker, she hugged him from behind. 

Isaac turned with a small smile which caused Max to frown, "What's wrong?"

He pressed his lips together before answering, "I'm just tired." 

Max kissed his cheek lightly and brought his hand into hers, "Do you want to stay in or go out on Saturday?"

Frowning Isaac replied, "I can't do anything then, Derek wants us to train that day and it's mandatory." 

"I'll talk to him about it because Saturday is very important." Max replied and Isaac squinted his eyes confused. 

"How's Saturday any different than any other Saturday?" Isaac asked while Max's smile faded.

Max looked at him a bit annoyed before walking away to her class, ignoring his calls.

Max's POV

I sat next to Lydia, chatting about what happened between Isaac and I. 

"He forgot our anniversary, Lydia." I told her and popped in another bite of Y/F/S.

Lydia skimmed her notebook before answering, "Maybe he didn't. You know some guys like to surprise their girlfriends." 

I thought over that fact but I've always known when he was lying, "I don't think so." 

The others finally came to the table with their food and I just sat staring at the charm bracelet Isaac had gifted me a few months ago. Isaac sat next to me but I ignored his presence.
