"I'm fine. I'm just going to go to work today. Nothing will happen to me okay." Jeongyeon tried to pry away from her mother's constant questioning.

After she told her mom about the whole thing yesterday, her mom is so scared that Nayeon would lay a finger on her baby girl. Yes Jeongyeon told her mom that Nayeon had slapped her after seeing her together with Baekhyun at the café that he had brought her to.

"Mom I have to at least keep this job. If I don't, Baekhyun said he would allow me to work at his company. I need to change Nayeon. I need her." Jeongyeon said as she just rushed out the door and onto the chilly morning street.

She pulled her coat closer to her body as she rushed to her car and drove to work quickly. She can't risk her job now even though she has already risked it when she was seen with Baekhyun the day before.

She stepped on the gas and practically raced to work.

She parked her car and went to her office. She grabbed the mail for Nayeon and knocked on her office, when she heard weird sounds coming from her office.

She took the mail and headed to her own office and she took a look at all of them. There was a letter for her.

She opened her letter first and it was from Baekhyun. He wanted her to join him instead of staying with Nayeon. He felt ache in his heart when he saw the many scars on her body.

The huge project, he is going to give it to her instead of Nayeon. She instantly didn't know what to feel. She could feel her feelings blooming like the first flower in the world, the only thing that ever mattered.

She continued to stare at the letter before putting it aside and reading all the letters Nayeon had and updated her schedule accordingly. She placed the letters and the schedule into the drop box outside Nayeon's office.

She went back to her office and saw her phone buzz-Nayeon.

She has always been like that ever since she entered the company. Having secret moments with Jaemin and not doing her job at all. She wouldn't even attend the in company meetings that were supposed to help her integrate into the company and become a good boss to her company.

Jeongyeon sighed as she took her stuff and went for the make up meeting that Baekhyun had kindly set up despite Nayeon's revolting attitude.

She took those proposals she had spent nights working on and went to her car to drive to Baekhyun's company building.

"Hi Mr Byun, I'm from the Im corporations with the proposal from our company." Jeongyeon said as she saw Baekhyun at the meeting room he had reserved for this meeting.

"Jeongyeon, no need to be so formal. Just be like how we are usually. Also, where's your superior who had slapped you yesterday?" Baekhyun asked.

"She didn't come." She simply stated as she took out her files, "these are my proposals, nothing to do with the company."

Baekhyun took those files from her as he had a look through of it. Jeongyeon took out her computer and pulled out a PowerPoint presentation and showed it to Baekhyun.

It was a very long talk and some laughters here and there.

They were having fun even though it was a formal meeting for the new project that Baekhyun is in charge of.
