Broken heart-2yeon

Baekhyun walked into the empty meeting room, Yi Xing was placing the files on the tables.

"Sigh, why am I back to this secretary job again? Can't you do this yourself? Geez Baek you need to do your things yourself you know." Yi Xing was complaining.

He has not done this job for a few days but it sure was troublesome to suddenly do his usual job again.

"Well Yi Xing, you haven't stopped working as my secretary for months, stop complaining alright, just for a few days until I come back from Jeongyeon's parents place ok." Baekhyun was looking through the proposal that was sent by the other company.

"Fine fine, just come back quickly, I cant be doing this when my department also have stuff to do." Yi Xing sat beside Baekhyun.

"Alright, just assist my brother with the company. He cant do everything alone you know." Baekhyun placed the files down and checked his watch. It was 5 minutes to 2.

"Yi Xing go make coffee for me. Then after that you are free to go. I'll settle the rest by myself." Baekhyun said as he went on his phone.

He checked his WhatsApp messenger and went to Jeongyeon's chat.

"Her last seen was last night huh? Guess she had completely disconnected from the world. I'll just talk to her when I find her later then." Baekhyun mumbled to himself before setting his phone down on the table and waited for the people to arrive.

He once again checked the time from the clock that was in the meeting room. It was a little past 2pm and the the door bursted open.

"We are so sorry we are late. We were caught in a traffic jam just now."

"That's okay, just go ahead and start." Baekhyun have a smile on his face as the newcomers settled down.

—Time skip—

Baekhyun was currently on the road to the address Jeongyeon had written on that piece of paper she had left for him.

It was already dark outside and he probably still have a two hour drive left to reach Jeongyeon. The radio was on and he was lightly humming to the tunes that played.

"Sigh, this ride is so long I should have just come here tomorrow." Baekhyun took a sip of his energy drink that he placed on his drink holder.

Lucky there were lights around illuminating the road before of him.

Jeongyeon was just chilling outside the house thinking about everything that had happened. Her relationship with Nayeon had completely deteriorated to nothingness, her relationship with Baekhyun was getting better in exponential rates.

"Guess I have to face that fact huh?" Jeongyeon said as she gaze at the stars in the dark sky.

"Face what?" A very familiar voice reaches Jeongyeon's ears.

"Baekhyun!" Jeongyeon stood up, ran over to Baekhyun and gave him a tight hug.

"You came here?" Jeongyeon asked.

"Yes of course. I couldn't be away from you, not even one day. You're so damn precious to me." Baekhyun said as he gave her a peck on her cheeks.

"Well have you eaten?"

"No, not really. I'm starving."

"Come in, i think there's still more food on the table."

"Okay them, lead the way baby."

"Mum!! Baekhyun is here." Jeongyeon shouted for her mum as he let Baekhyun sit at the dining table.

"Coming darling!" Jeongyeon's mum walked out of the kitchen wiping her hands on her apron.

"Mum, this is Baekhyun. Baekhyun, this is my mum. Mum I'm going to help him take some food. He had been on a long drive." Jeongyeon went to the back.

"Oh my come sit down. You must be tired."

"I'm okay madam."

"Don't be so formal just call me mum, like Jeongyeon."

Baekhyun became shy at the suggestion.

"Mum!!! Don't make him feel uncomfortable!!"

Jeongyeon's mum laughed and went back to the kitchen to wash the dishes leaving Baekhyun alone.
