"Jeongyeon, a nod is not going to save you this time you know?" There stood Jaemin a little far away from them, a smug look on his face.

Of course a nod is technically not an answer, Jeongyeon is a little overwhelmed right now and that snob just has to ruin that moment.

Baekhyun stood up. "You're not laying hands on her whether or not she had answered. She is not going to steal your Nayeon away anymore so back the f off alright!" The outburst caused everyone to look at the commotion.

"Oh you're bringing attention to yourself Baekhyun, don't you remember what happened in elementary school?" He smirked.

Baekhyun backed off. Jaemin just have a huger smirk on his face, "I see you still remember."

Jaemin walked towards Baekhyunand whispered into his ear, "Just because now you're a CEO doesn't mean that you weren't under my feet just a few years back, dog." He walked away.

Baekhyun was simply too shocked to say anything or do anything at all. He just stared ahead stuck in his position. He can never forget that day when he was right under someone's feet.

He quickly snapped out of it and dragged Jeongyeon away out of the office. He kind of knew that his security was not use against Jaemin's inhuman abilities.

He pulled Jeongyeon to his car that was parked in the building's basement and drove to his house where his haven is at.

The car ride wasn't exactly silent. As they pass by various buildings, Jeongyeon spoke up.

"What was that all about? Why do you fear him?"

"It is a long story let me tell you when we get to my house. Anyway my proposal?" Baekhyun asked as he kept his gaze on the road that was ahead of him.

"Yes I'd like to."

That was the end of the whole conversation as they made their way towards Baekhyun's mansion.

It wasn't too long that they reached the mansion. Baekhyun stopped the car at the foyer and exited, he handed the keys to one of his butlers and lead Jeongyeon out of the car and into the house.

The maids were running around the place cleaning and doing all the other stuff. Baekhyun shouted for one of them to prepare tea and bring it to the study room.

Baekhyun made his way to the study room with Jeongyeon and sat down. He reckoned he couldn't hide anything from Jeongyeon any longer than this. She had already caught on that he is afraid of Jaemin.

"You want to the know the whole truth right?" To which Jeongyeon just nodded.
