Jeongyeon laid in her bed staring at the ceiling when her mom came into the room.
"Jeongyeon what was that out there? I thought both of you were good friends?" Jeongyeon just looked at her mom in slight disbelief.
"We have not been friends for a very long time mom. After I became the head of student council back in high school, we have not been friends." Jeongyeon explained as she turned her head back to look at the white ceiling.
"You didn't turn up for work today?" Her mom asked.
"No. I went out with Baekhyun the young CEO who is working with the company." She answered not going into detail.
"Oh? So you went out with a client to talk about business?" Her mom wanted to make sure that she doesn't wrong anyone in the process.
"It was for a date." She simply said.
"Then so you're in the wrong." Her mom stated.
"Mom she didn't even go to work today. She went on a date with her boyfriend as well. Im supposed to help her but how do I help her if she isn't even there in the first place?" Jeongyeon said. She was losing her cool as she thought back to the day's happenings.
"Ok then so both are in the wrong." Her mom corrected herself.
"But if I don't go he might terminate the contract with the company and it would be my fault." She argued.
"Alright Alright. Now rest we will talk about this tomorrow." Her mom said as she placed a kiss on Jeongyeon's forehead before leaving the dark room.
That's how she got forced to talk about the day incident.
