Baekhyun pov
I woke up the next morning alone in my office. I could see that it was already busy outside and people were walking all over. I saw a note right next to me and when I saw the contents, my body shot up from the chair I was sitting on.

I couldn't care less about the extreme backache I was having from sleeping in an uncomfortable position. "Jeongyeon left." I muttered to myself before rushing to her office. It wasn't empty. All the files that I need were stacked up neatly. All the files I don't need were all in boxes to be sent to various departments.

I decided to send the files myself and try to reach Jeongyeon. I don't have objection of her going back to see her parents but I just want her here. She is my love after all.

I went down to every department with the files in hand and giving it to the department director. All of them were shocked that I was the one delivering everything. I didn't really care about it. They probably had gotten a message from Jeongyeon to collect it from her office but none of them bothered to send someone to take it.

I finally finished my deliveries and walked back to Jeongyeon's office. It was about three days worth of work. I took out my phone to check for my schedule. Jeongyeon had already sent it to me. Besides the meeting in the later afternoon, I'm free for two days.

I'll ask my brother from the brother company of Byun corporation to help out with the running of the place, so I can go see Jeongyeon.

It was time for meet the parents session. I chuckled to myself before signing and looking through the documents, and sending it out to the departments.

I am going to see her by tonight, by hook or by crook.

The address is on the note as well, she already know me so well. I broke into a wide smile at that fact.

Jeongyeon pov

I slept like what felt like forever before my mum came to call me up for lunch. It felt like time had turned back, when life wasn't so complicated like now. It is nice to disconnect a little.

I sat up and got off the bed walking to the living room. I saw my dad there looking at the newspapers. Nothing has changed.

I went over to hug him from the back.

"Hey dad, I'm home." I smiled as I said that. I have never been so happy to be back home ever since I started working.

"Oh my, my little girl is all grown up." My dad said as he hugged me back. I miss his hugs that are always very warm.

I let go of him and sat down next to him and we all started eating.

The first mouth of food was able to break me down to tears.

I have been so busy, caught up with all the things that life throws at me that I never eaten a proper home cooked meal and it was sweet in my mouth, warm in my heart.

I wipe my tears away quickly yet they come down constantly. My mum gave me a very tight hug, my dad as well. I was protected in their embrace, right smack in the middle.

It was a good choice to come back now.
