'Five hundred unread,' Paul sighed as he looked at the laptop screen sat in front of him. While Marshall was busy giving himself a hard time over the recent reviews for Revival, Paul was left to sort out all his unread emails. The worst part about it was that Marshall had not opened the ones he didn't care about, such as those from random artists who thought they had a shot at working with him.

The past hour and a half had consisted of Paul scrolling through the emails and in many cases deleting the ones that were of no use while keeping some that he thought Marshall might want to look at. He came across a few from a dating site Marshall had been sighed up to; Paul remembered that day very well, a number of messages that came through was astounding. As he scrolled through some that had been left unopened, he suddenly stopped at one. Her profile catching his eye. It was then that he decided that he was going to give Marshall back his laptop so he could look through the rest himself.

Paul wandered down the hall, Marshall's laptop perched on his arm, making his way towards the rapper's studio. When he reached the door, he didn't bother knocking, instead barged right in, placing the laptop right in front of the rapper. Marshall had been scribbling away in a notebook, his headphones on, when all of a sudden the laptop was placed right on top of it, making him drop his pen.

''What the fuck man, I was getting some ideas down,'' Marshall ground out in slight anger at the fact that his train of thought had just been disrupted by his manager.

''Well when you're done trying to diss the whole of the music industry I suggest you look through these emails. Some I think you might find interesting,'' Paul gestured towards the one that was open at that moment. Marshall took one look and rolled his eyes.

''This is from years ago Paul she ain't gonna be single anymore and if she is I doubt she still looks like that,'' he commented glancing over the profile quickly, ''and she'll be like thirty-seven, not thirty-five,'' he added, finding himself clicking on the link that would take him to her profile. It was an updated version to the one shown in the email, but most of the details were still the same.

The picture beside the profile was of a relatively young-looking woman. Her hair was long, reaching just past her shoulders, it was mostly straight but curled up slightly at the end. The deep brown of it matched her eyes that could just about be seen behind the reflection coming from the glasses she was wearing. Her facial details were hard to see considering the image wasn't the clearest. Marshall did, however, spot the dusting of freckles across her nose.

''Hey look at that she's still single,'' Paul piped up leaning over Marshalls' left shoulder, to get a closer look at the profile.

''She's also kinda hot too,'' both of them turned around to see Ryan stood behind them leaning over Marshall's right shoulder,''what, just calling it how I see it,'' he replied shrugging his shoulders.

''What are you even doing here man?'' Marshall questioned slamming the lid of the laptop down, concealing Jodie from the world.

'''I got that verse done for that new song you wanted me on,'' Royce spoke, his own notebook now resting down next to Marshalls on the table, ''but judging by what you too were looking at, I'm guessing that's being put on hold,'' he added raising his eyebrows at the two men.
