I think I was the first person to wake up that morning. I couldn't hear anyone else moving about so I tried to stay quiet.

I didn't really dream of anything either, it was just pitch-black darkness. But at least I got a good night's sleep, for once I felt refreshed and not tired at all.

-------

I sat on my bed and thought about what I was told yesterday. They were vampires.... vampires.

"So I'm spending today with Lay..." I whispered to myself.

I got up and looked in the mirror. My hair was a bit messy so I ran my hands through it a few times to make myself look a bit more presentable. Next, to the mirror on the desk, there was the diary that Baekhyun gave me and a little silver pen.

There was a tapping at my door; I walked over and opened it to see who was there.

I was met by the empty hallway, maybe I was hearing things. I closed it again and started to walk back to my bed when I heard a knocking again

I quickly walked back and opened the door to see a slightly shocked Lay.

"You okay?" He asked me while looking at me holding the door handle, my knuckles had turned white.

"Yeah, I uh.., Just... Did you knock on my door before too?" I asked him.

He shook his head.

"No, this is the first time I've gone down this hallway today," He chuckled a bit and I fake smiled.

Great, I was already going insane.

"Anyways," He continued. "I was going to get some breakfast and wondering if you wanted to come downstairs with me so I could cook you something,"

"Of course," I said and left my room and closed my door behind me.

We walked down the corridor and he asked me a few things like 'how did you sleep?' and 'what kind of food do you like?'

When we get down to the kitchen Lay begins to make me some pancakes.

"They're easy to make and they go great with strawberries~" He said happily while mixing the batter.

I laughed slightly, Lay being cheery and happy made this whole situation easy to deal with.

He set down 3 steaming pancakes in front of me, they had some syrup on them and some strawberries too. It looked delicious.

"Thank you," I smiled at him when he handed me a knife and fork.

While I ate them, Lay told me a story about the first time he cooked pancakes and the disaster that it turned into. I could imagine Lay as a 13-year-old, running around the kitchen, holding a pan that's on fire.

I laughed at the thought.

I cleared the plate and washed it up, despite Lay's protests.

"Right then," He spoke, catching my attention.

"Today can be for you to ask any questions about us, Vampires, as you want. Facts vs myths." He said.

"Okay," I nodded.

I followed him outside, into the garden where there was a blanket out on the floor to sit on. We both sat down and Lay smiled at me.

"I won't take offence to any questions by the way," He added.

The first question I thought of was probably stupid but I asked it anyway.

"Can you go out in the sun?" I asked since it was moderately cloudy today.
