||3RD POV||

It was late, around midnight or so, but a figure in formal attire was walking through an alley and her appearance was demonic. She paused when she heard something make contact with flash along with laughter, she raised a brow when she saw a group of middle schoolers swinging a bat with wires around it at a girl no older than eight, her eyes darken to the point that there was no sign of life in them. "What do you think you're doing?" Her cold deadly voice caused them to stop their actions and snapped their attention towards her voice, her figure walked into the moonlight and they stepped back in fear when they saw her appearance. Her nails tapped across her forearm with a frown but her glowing gas mask hid it. The leader of the group stated with a smirk but fear was in his eyes, "And what is it to ya?"

Shadows swirled around the alleyway as she spoke with a sinister look in her eyes, "Maybe the second-ranked villain in the world is the best answer, brat." That seemed to cause them all to run off when the leader roared with fear, "Fuck! It's άδης! Run!" It was silent as their hurried footsteps faded into the silence, she stared at where they ran off to and decided that they were gone, she hurried to the fallen body with a panicked look in her eyes. She was cursing loudly as she picked her up and looked at her injuries, not noticing the red eyes that seemed to glare at her from the shadows. She placed her hands on the girl's injuries and a golden light erupted from her palm and son her injuries disappeared in seconds. She heard a can roll over towards her and look at it but she was met with a hand and her eyes widen when her mask got disintegrated.

She was still as the young boy with pale blue hair spoke in harsh words, "Let go of her." She felt his hand touch her skin but nothing happened, confusing the young boy who was taken back as she grabbed his wrist. She noticed that he was still in a primary school's raincoat with his bag underneath it, her eyes soften as she reassured, "Look, kid. I'm only here to help her, not to hurt her." They stared ta each other for second before she asked with a frown, "Why are you out here so late?" He was silent as he ripped his hand from hers and stated with a scowl as he stepped back in a defensive manner, "I don't have to tell anything to you." She sighed in frustration and bluntly stated with a raised brow, "You killed them, didn't you?" He stiffened and she knew that she right when she saw his small movement, she spoke while looking at him with blank eyes, "Let me tell you something; I did the same to my own."

As she spoke, small tears escaped his eyes and walked closer to her as she opened her arms for him, "They were nice to me, well my mother was. My father didn't like the idea of me so he ate my mother." She didn't want to tell him what happens next since he would think that she's crazy and he was hugging her so tightly as he cried. She pats his shoulder as she said sweet nothings to him and looked at the moon with dazed eyes as her appearance turned normal but her wings appeared from her shoulder blades. He got tired as she started to hum a tune with a calming voice and she picked him and the unconscious girl up, her wings opened and she made a big motion with them.

Immediately, they were in the air and a large black feather landed on the ground but soon burned in a neon green flame. She flapped her wings in large motions as she flew through the night sky that seemed to cause the boy to stare at the stars with wide eyes. She mentioned as she hovered in the air, "I never got your name." He leaned his head on her shoulder as he murmured it out for her, "Tenko Shimura." That name sounded familiar to her and she realized from where but decided to stay quiet as she nods with a hum. She continued to stroll through the sky with the two sleeping bodies in her arms but her head was filled with millions of thoughts.

She landed in front of her house and tucked in her wings with a frown as she opened the door. She was met with silence as she walked through the dark house and placed them in the same room before closing the door with a soft sigh, she looks out of the window and stared at the full moon. She leaned against the window sill with a calm look on her face as she hummed to herself an old tune that she and a special someone sang in the past. Her heart ached at the thought of him and she bit back tears as her lips trembled a bit but she calmed herself down as she thought while getting off of the window sill, 'There's no time to cry. I am a god, after all, the fallen god of war and wisdom, but who cares. No one does.'

She reached her bedroom in seconds and opened the door while her wings disappeared, she walked into the room and softly closed it behind her. Slowly, she started to strip out of her attire and slipped into the covers with a relaxed smile, her eyes closed slowly as she started to slip into dreamland and enjoyed the memories from the past that played through her mind. But, sometimes through the night, a small figure awoke and looked around the room that he was in, he got up from the bed and opened the door. He closed it behind him before looking around the house for the older woman, he heard soft snoring from one room and opened it. There, he found the sleeping maiden under the covers and walked into the room while closing the door behind him and climbed in with her, slowly falling asleep next to her.

Dreams flowed through their minds like broken record players.
